This gimbal is okay, but it doesn't have the rearward adjustments to handle a Canon R7 with an EF 24-70 2.8 lens. That set up weighs in at about 4lbs 8 oz and it would handle the weight, but I can't get it balanced. The EF to RF adapter is a little to long to make balance. So unless you are planning to swap out your EF to RF lenses you may want to look at a bigger Gimbal. With shorter lens it would probably be fine.

From the moment I laid my hands on FeiyuTech's SCORP-C Camera Stabilizer, I knew my videography game was about to level up. This sleek, professional-grade gimbal is a true masterpiece of engineering, designed to tame even the most unruly camera movements with its silky smooth, 3-axis stabilization. The SCORP-C's ergonomic design and intuitive controls make it a breeze to operate, allowing me to effortlessly capture breathtaking footage, whether I'm on the move or in the midst of a high-octane action sequence. Its impressive payload capacity of up to 5.51 lbs accommodates a wide range of DSLR and mirrorless cameras, ensuring compatibility with my entire gear arsenal. While its robust build inspires confidence, its lightweight construction means I can shoot for hours without fatigue (or pun intended, ""weight"" for it). The only downside? My shaky hands are no longer a valid excuse for blurry shots!

If you love making high end content with your digital camera this is the stabilizer for you to check out. Not as expensive as the other brands but just as capable. Winter has slowed me down with what I do in the vehicle world but I'm so excited to get some clean stable shots at car shows and events with it sooner rather than later. Easy to set up with my phone to control the motors and angles, and the youtube tutorials the company has made help tremendously also. Just having this and knowing it's ability is exciting in itself. Take this, and get out there and make some beautiful content for the world to see!

This is my first gimbal so I do not have a lot to compare it to. But it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is easy to handle and control. It gives me a very steady recording with my Nikon Z6ii. It has more options that I need, so it has capabilities for me as I grow with it.But as a newbie, I did not appreciate that it takes a lot of set up. Obviously it needs to be balanced so it can have a 'neutral' position to start from. As I learned, you need to set it up each time you change your lens because the weight and balance with clearly change. It may get easier quicker with practice, but for me it is not super-quick. So I have decided to just use my 24-120 lens for now, which works for me for most situations. All of this is not a complaint, but a lesson learned that I did not appreciate before getting it. That is why I am still giving this a full 5 star rating.

So a few things to note on this gimble. One it’s very well put together and a great quality. However, it is not for someone that is wanting to just start out or has light experience with other gimbal’s. It is not that easy to use and can be challenging to set up. Instructions are decent, but could be a little better perhaps maybe be a video or a QC to scan. Balancing is decently easy however, one thing to note is with a camera on it, It can be very heavy. I have just gotten into it and I’m on my second week and have not been able to get it started. Charging is fast and it seems to be very smooth with lots of adaptations to any angle. Functionality I’m sure is fantastic. However it takes a good 2 to 3 days to learn. Everything is professionally packed, and it is definitely for the professional. So make sure you’re at that level before deciding to make a purchase.
