About this item

  • Relative humidity (RH), temperature, wet bulb, and dew point meter is used for HVAC, indoor air quality, and environmental applications
  • Dual-scale thermometer measures wet- and dry-bulb temperature and dew point in F and C
  • Capacitive humidity sensor ranges from 0 to 100 percent relative humidity (RH)
  • Data hold for recording data, and minimum and maximum temperature readings
  • Protective cover over sensor
  • Power Consumption: <2.0mA
  • Sensor: Electronic Capacitance Polymer Film Sensor
  • Range Relative Humidity: 0 to 100%
  • Range Temperature: -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F)
  • Accuracy Relative Humidity: ±3%RH from 10 to 95%RH, +5%RH (0 to 10, 95 to 100%RH) @ 25°C (77°F) non-condensing

The Amprobe TH-1 relative humidity (RH) and temperature meter simultaneously measures relative humidity, dew point, and wet- and dry-bulb temperature to provide dual-scale readings in F and C, and is used for HVAC, indoor air quality, and environmental applications. The capacitive humidity sensor measures RH from 0 to 100 percent. The extended probe has a cover to protect the sensor when taking measurements inside ducts. The meter has minimum, maximum, and hold functions for recording data, and relative zero functionality stores reference points. It requires one 9V battery (included), and includes a carrying bag, and instructions.

The first one did not respond when I installed the battery. No display....nothing. The second one also did absolutely nothing. The THIRD one did absolutely when installing the battery. Alll the batteries, (3 volts), were good.....(3.255 volts to 3.256 volts). All three of the TH-1's were defective and did nothing when energized. The displays did not turn on or even blink!

I bought this in July and used if for maybe 3 months. I have trouble getting it to turn on. I love the size, fits comfortably in my cargo pocket. I am shopping for a new one because I'm afraid It won't last much longer. Feels very cheaply made. Should be priced at $15 instead of nearly $70
