Ladder feels a little sketchy at 10+ feet. I’m 200 pounds and there was a lot of slop as I got higher up the ladder. It’s really cool because it’s compact and doesn’t take up much room.

Just received and had tempered expectations. This definitely was a fantastic purchase and I’m pumped I bought it! It’s got decent weight as it’s certainly sturdy. As long as you pay attention while collapsing it one rung at a time with your hand on the next higher one (so you don’t accidentally smash your finger) you are good to go! Highly recommend!

At 14 ft, this ladder will do everything I need. It's portable and strong, but not so heavy as to make it difficult to move or use. Be careful when collapsing after use. Take your time and keep your fingers clear, as some of the steps come all the way down. If you have finger or thumb in there, it'll definitely hurt. That stated, use with care and you'll be ok.

… be aware of its limitations.Pros:1) Lightweight compared to other aluminum extension ladders of the same reach.2) Easier to use for indoor needs due to size, weight and maneuverability.3) Easy to extend and lock in place.4) Very compact for the length it reaches. You can easily put it in the back of most cars.Cons:1) Easy to extend, yes, but be careful because it can come crashing down on your hands and fingers as you try to adjust it section by section.2) Can be difficult to move to a new location because as you pick it up, the unextended sections may want to slide open due to gravity … making it awkward to move as you try to keep it from extending more.3) Unopened sections will make for a significant gap between rungs (see photo of partially extended ladder) which might cause you to misplace your foot as you are climbing up or down.4) When finished, be careful where you put your fingers as you can crush or pinch them easily between rungs as they snap down do to gravity.Bottom line: It’s better for indoor use than using more awkward and heavy ladders with similar reach. But you have to very careful when opening and closing and trying to move it when it’s partially opened. You will also need to use the strap to make sure it doesn’t try to open up on you as you are walking with it fully closed. It’s a nice ladder for what it does, but it’s not foolproof.

I was shocked at how small and compact it is and how it expands to its size. My new favorite thing stored in my garage.

Ladder is easily extended and retracted. It’s not lite weight at 30lbs. but is very well made and sturdy. Fits nicely in my RV storage compartment.
