I like the size and weight of this. but the temperature did not maintain at the chosen setting very well when running on ac power in a stable environment. Even though the temp said it was running between 38°f - 42°f it formed ice and froze the lettuce and other fresh veggies.When I tested this on 12v solar power in a variable temperature environment in my RV to see how it would perform I was surprised. I set my target temp to 44°f and placed veggies in paper bags to see if a little insulation would make any difference. It worked GREAT! I was on the fence about whether I would return this as it was a replacement, since the ac power choice did not perform well, but I'm using it in the RV primarily and the power draw on is negligible .The first one I ordered was noisy and froze everything. Since other reviews have stated that it is quiet and temperature holds well, I decided to return the first one and get a replacement to see if the performance is due to a defect of some sort.

So far so good. works great. I love that I can now keep things at proper temp while camping without the Ice! Ice takes up so much space and melts so fast. I bought the 16L and it is much bigger then I visualized. The measurements are perfect and correct. Look how much you can fit in the 16L compartment look at pics. You can easily pit a weeks worth of the right foods in here. It will easily go below freezing so keeping things very cold is easy. It has a slight hum while cooling then when it hits temp which only takes a couple minutes it stays silent for long periods. So far I love this thing. If anything changes Ill update my review. It comes with wall plug and car lighter style plug also simple instructions. the lid closes great and locks when closed and unlocks when you touch the lid handle to open. very easy to use, It arrived undamaged and brand new wrapped and secure in box.

Product itself does not seems bad. But amz. ae classification has an error. I purchased two times the item and another brand with smaller capacity delivered. I will return to buy 35 liter which seems more durable. This one is able to cool up to -4 Celsius. but below this level seems impossible. I wait for hours but temperature did not dropped.

It just got delivered 30 minutes ago 4/7/23. Everything looks good no dents cracks or other visual damage. I researched this fridge on YouTube. They say you should let the unit stand level at least 12 hours before use to allow compressor fluids to settle. This is because in shipping it may have been stored on its side so I’m letting it sit until tomorrow. The instructions doesn’t say to do this, but it makes sense to me. So, I will come back and update this review when I put it to use. I’ve heard good things about Alpicool so I am a little disappointed that the logo is just a peel and stick on tape which has a bubble in it so it’s not adhered very well. However the label doesn’t make it run. Just hoping I haven’t Ben given a cheap knock off. If it works I’ll be happy.UPDATE: it’s the next day so I believe it’s sat long enough. It started right up with my jackery for power. In 10 minutes it went from 64 degrees down to 54 and dropping as I type. It’s on Max at the moment drawing 44w. Switched to eco mode now drawing 29w. It fluctuates just a bit has compressor kicks on and off. Success. I’m happy with it.ANOTHER UPDATE: I’ve had this for one work week. It’s working great. I probably would have done better with the 9liter fridge because it takes up some space in my king cab, but I do plan to use it for camping so it’s ok. Got a fridge thermometer and found that it was actually 30 degrees inside so I set the unit to 41degrees. My concern now is for when the Texas heat ramps up. It’s refreshing to have cold V8, water and fruit cups. It’s working perfectly, as for power supply, that’s a work in progress. My 500 jackery doesn’t last all day.UPDATE OCT 7ThI bought another Alpicool. I put the bigger one in the house. Too big for my new Versa. This one fits perfectly in my back seat. It cools down quickly. It’s a 10L size. It has plenty of space for drinks and my lunch. Working just fine. Thank you Alpicool.
