Got this in unboxed it plugged it in and unit did not power out at all. Started messing around and playing with it realized that they actually moved the fuse from the outside of the unit and put it inside. Fuse was good started poking around a little bit and I found a ground wire off right next to where the fuse is reconnected the ground wire there unit fired right up. I guess they do not check these before They ship them out to make sure they work. take the cover off the side you’ll see a little black box on the top left side if you’re looking at it pull the cover off and the positive and ground wire are right there under the fuse. It was a quick fix. Definitely have to be a little bit handy, though. The unit is Super portable works great love the two zone. I would’ve gave it a five if I didn’t have to take it apart to make it work when I got it. very nice. Temperature control works great handles are nice. Very light unit great for the back of my truck. Anytime we go out to a sporting event down the shore on the beach on the boat we use it’s great. We don’t need any ice and everything stays nice and cold great value for your money.

There is nothing to dislike about this product. I use it daily as bedside refrigerator. It is quiet enough to not disturb sleep. The dual, temperature controlled zones are a game changer. The top has a nice soft close and latches securely. The rapid cooling feature works well and temperature controls are accurate enough for the designed application. As a camping and travel refrigerator, it works great on car battery power and on a portable battery. There is a battery protection setting that reduces cycles and may vary the temperature to prolong battery life. I have not tested this feature.

We had a different brand of cooler that we raved about until it quit after 3 seasons. A few other campers expressed no surprise at that and recommended ICECO. So far we are very pleased. It is well made and performed well its first season. Time will tell

Updated Review: Owned since March 22, 2022The ICECO GO20 has performed exceptionally well, and here are a few updates since my last review:Pros:✔️ Easy to clean – Just be sure to keep the fridge vents clear for proper airflow.✔️ Surprisingly useful app – I initially thought the app was unnecessary, but now I love being able to turn the fridge on at a stoplight so it’s cold before I even get to the store.✔️ Dual zones are great for longer trips – For the best temperature control, consistency, and efficiency, I recommend filling each zone as much as possible.✔️ Reliable power usage – I run mine on a 230Ah lithium battery with a 200W solar panel, and it powers the fridge and multiple other devices without dropping below 60% after 2-3 days stationary.Cons:❌ Needs better securing options – A surface or built-in hooks for tethering would be a huge help when overlanding. Rough terrain makes it challenging to keep the fridge in place.Overall, the GO20 has been a solid performer, and with a few small improvements, it would be even better!Original Review:This is my second ICEO refrigerator, my first ICECO Blue JP42 Pro works perfectly but I need something a little smaller for a bit of food and some medical supplies. While attending Overland Expo East in October, I noticed the ICECO booth and spoke with Lu Z. from ICECO regarding a few concerns I had regarding my new ICECO GO20 Dual Zone. Here are the shocking results, Lu offered to walk the half mile to my Jeep with a battery pack and diagnose and fix my refrigerator issues. He actually made a house call to my Jeep! On the spot he took my refrigerator apart fixed a hinge and diagnosed my cooling problem. Lu also suggested I a few environmental tweaks to improve air flow around the refrigerator that improve its performance in harsh temperatures.I am now well on my way to resolving the problem and ICECO has a customer and advocate for life!Seriously, how many how many companies do you buy from that stand by their products like ICECO.Thank you again ICECO and especially Lu.Stan B

Edit: I’m not going to change the rating but I do want to l leave and update about a problem I had which apparently some other reviewers also had. While I was away from the truck, the cigarette lighter plug popped out of the socket to the AC adaptor the refrigerator came with. It doesn’t seem to lock in very well, probably because the spring for the tip is too strong. Fortunately I saw the problem before my food spoiled but it could have been bad. I fixed to problem by wrapping electrical tape around the connection point to hold them together but frankly, I should not have needed to do that. Iceco should really address that as it also pops out when plugged into a cigarette lighter socket. Still think it’s a very good refrigerator otherwise. So bought the GO20 to use as a 2nd refrigerator/freezer for use in my Peterbilt 579. For the space that it needed to occupy and the price, it seemed to be the best option. I will say, that if your putting it in a standard 579 like mine versus and Ultraloft, and have a 24” TV mounted to the standard mount that comes in the Peterbilt, you will need to attach a swivel mount and have the tv at and angle while traveling. In theory based on the dimensions it should fit without the modification but the angle of the back corner of the wall as well as the need to keep the grill on the refrigerator clear means your shy about and inch for all practical purposes. It will fit but it pushes on the tv pretty solidly and a few bumps down the road are going to break the tv. A 22” tv or smaller shouldn’t need any modifications. The refrigerator has and app to control it on iOS and Android. I’m iOS so I can’t speak to Android functionality but on the iPhone it works flawlessly. I’ve seen some other people complain they couldn’t pair the refrigerator with their phone but my experience is you don’t need to. Once you install the app, when it’s near the refrigerator, it just see’s it without needing to go into the Bluetooth menu and pairing. I think it’s using something akin to Ultra Wide Band versus standard Bluetooth to connect. There’s a whole thing in the book about how to calibrate the temp settings versus a thermometer but I didn’t need to do that. The super chill feature will get the left side down to close to zero in about 45 minutes and it will freeze water bottles rather quickly. I find its easiest to set parameters in the app versus on the touch pad on the refrigerator. Everything on mine already came using American units but that can be switched in the app if your feeling French. Reliability in the truck is a mixed bag. It seems to have a hard time maintaining temps when plugged into the cigarette lighter when the truck has been off for a while and I think that has everything to do with the the battery protection built in. It just doesn’t do a good job of sending the actual voltage so even when you set the refrigerator to the lowest protection level, it wants to think your available voltage is lower than it is and I’m running 1kw of solar panels. That’s the bad. The good is that if you have a decent true sine wave inverter like a Xantrax or the one that comes with a Tripac, it will run off of that and all those issues go away. It will not work on a normal inverter like what most of the truck stops sell and if you’ve got a small auxiliary true sine wave inverter, like the little 300 watt one I’m running it’s going to pop it’s protection circuit. My 1000/1500 watt Xantrax seems to be able to run this, a 1000 watt microwave and a couple of battery chargers no problem at the same time. If your going to buy this to use in a truck like I did, your either going to want to buy the grey one that comes with the insulating bag or if you just have to have white, splurge on the bag for $59. The refrigerator is very shiny and the space between the wall and the mattress is tight with a small knob sticking out for the passenger sleeper window. Your going to scratch the heck out of it without the bag. The thing seems to be very energy efficient but I’m guessing the insulated bag helps a lot. Shipping time was not good. It took almost three months to get to me so I am just a bit worried if it needs warranty. I’m guessing that has a lot to do with COVID 19 so I’ll just hope it stays reliable. There where a couple other options I found that would have been a slightly better fit but the amount of storage in them wasn’t as good. There where some others that where using the good compressor that this frig uses that also would have fit and have decent room inside but they where all way more expensive. Shiny plastic shell aside, the GO20 seems to be a well designed machine and it is sturdy. If it holds up which I think it will, it’s dollar for dollar the best bang for the bucks I’ve found and I looked long and hard. I think if your looking for and extra truck frig, you probably can’t go wrong with this frig.
