I have had such great use for this kit! Many many friends got married during the pandemic and since big bridal showers, engagement parties, bachelorettes weren’t really an option, this kit was just a fun way to get a little group together to celebrate these brides. I’ve also brought it on family vacations, girls trips, going away parties. Since there isn’t really a standard for “correct” answers, I’ve paired it up with the Vivino App. Also, review the wine list prior to purchasing as not all types of wine are options!

This should be a fun, educational experience for newbies to wine, as well as wine geeks. Yes, you could go online and find much of this, but the descriptions of grape varietals is very helpful. Plus, many sheets are laminated so they'll stay nice with repeated uses. I've enclosed pictures so you can get a better understanding of what is included and what you can do with the kit. You could have a winner for identifying the wines correctly, but I'd rather have everyone just have fun learning a little about wine.

Just as the title of this product says "all you need is wine". The kit contains everything that we need. It is very well made and the instruction sheet and wine tips are on plastic coated sheets so they can be used over again. This was our first wine tasting, but we definitely plan on having another and using the same kit. It is designed for the newbie so it gives detailed instructions for how to taste. I can't say enough about how good this is.

I purchased this kit to host my very 1st wine tasting event at my my home. My guests were so impressed with the whole setup. I was able to give each guest a wine tasting tip card, which also had information about different grape varietals on the opposite side of the card. We used the scoring cards to discuss each wine and rate the wine. My guest thought that the name cards for the wine glasses was a pretty good ideal to help keep up with their wine glasses, after sampling each wine and moving about the party.

Not worth the money. Cheap materials. Keeping only because I have nothing else to substitute.

This proved to be a fun part of our party. To be honest, I don't have very good taste buds or so I learned and I don't have a good sniffer. I guess all those years of dance training and not eating much worked against me here. It was fun to guess and try to figure out aromas, finishes and varieties. It was a great discussion starter and helped me to find a few more wines I can add to my collection. Worth the price and worth the fun!

If you want to host a wine tasting party, this is a cool option. I thought it would be a little cheesy, but knew my friends would be forgiving. It turned out to be very cool. It didn't feel that way at all. The bottle covers are not lovely or lush--they just get the job done. So other than creating a velvety experience, the materials were all good.I bought a bunch of small 8oz wine glasses for the party. Then corked all of the bottles. I hid in a side room where I covered all of the wine glasses and emerged with each one individually. We opted to taste each wine and debrief (using the Wine Kit cards) in between each wine. That was a nice way to give reactions and record the smell and other items on the worksheet. There were typical comments like "spicy" or "caramel"...and then we laughed at some of the options listed in the kit's "other" category like "cat box" and "petrol"We had gone to Napa and purchased some $100 wines earlier that year. We had a mix of $3 wine (Two Buck Chuck) all the way through the expensive bottles. It was hilarious to see how the price didn't necessarily correlate with a good rating.Having this kit to label everything for a blind test was awesome. We did all Cabernet, yet the kit is set up for mixing the varietals. It worked fine to use the same grape all the way through. If you don't take yourself too seriously, this is a super fun and educational way to do a tasting. We will be doing many more.

We used this for my sister's bridal shower, instead of doing a traditional bachelorette party. Everyone brought a bottle of wine and we sat around and tasted, discussed, and had a great time! The tip sheets are so helpful, especially if you are not a wine expert. It was fun to try and guess the wine, although not all the wines we had were listed on the tip sheets. We had so much fun, though. We let the person who guessed the most correctly take her pick of bottles to take home with her. Then if anyone gave a wine an A - we let them take that one. It was interesting to see how different wines rated, sometimes even a more expensive wine was not well liked, whereas a cheaper one may have been rated higher by everyone. Overall a great time, and I can't wait to do this again!
