Your cart is empty."Firstly I’d like to mention how luxurious the packaging is, the presentation box really looks the part in our tasting room. The kit has a wide variety of aromas (far more than kits we have used previously) and all being relevant to the whisky making process, whether that be desirable aromas or off-notes. There’s a manual inside which includes the origins of whisky, something that would definitely be useful for new starters in our Visitor Centre. There’s also an aroma wheel which includes information for whiskies, which is useful for understanding the characteristics of other brands. The quality of the aromas themselves is also something that will assist me with my training as the aromas are authentic and strong smelling. Overall, I think the set will help me develop my nosing and tasting techniques further as well as developing my knowledge of the industry. The quality of both the packaging and the aromas are fantastic. The box that carries the 88 aromas itself is covered in a beautiful green leather accented by gold foiling that just looks amazing when paired together. The aromas are all great and allowed me to learn which scent note was what and pick them out in my favorite whiskeys.

As mentioned in another review, this product had a very strong chemical smell that was not possible to clean or remove. My theory is it is an off gas from a glue they used in putting things together. I ended up having to just throw away everything but the scent vials. Very disappointed as the case and inserts were well made and I was excited to incorporate them into my whiskey tasting with friends. However, after several days and much attempted cleaning the smell persists and is very off putting. My whiskey cabinet now has some of the smell after placing one of the booklets inside of it and I'm trying to air it out.For the price premium this is a deal breaker for me, but the return options were just not worth it. I'll make do but beware if you consider purchasing.

This is my first aroma kit, but I cannot imagine a better set. I paid the extra $ for expedited shipping and the kit was delivered in pristine condition. Each scent bottle was sealed. I had to peel off the seal prior to each bottle’s first use, which I appreciated. Great product delivered exactly as seller described, Thanks,

The inside felt that holds the vials smells awful. I'm having to put baking soda all over it and keep it in a bag to de-scent it. It made the outside green leather smell very musty, like old leather from 100 years in a box. It stinks up the whole room. I have tried washing the leather and that doesn't work. Also tried leather cleaner and conditioner until I discovered it was really the felt insert. I will need to get some solvents next. The inside contents are fine, most of the smells are interesting and match the intended items. Some of them don't really match though, not even sure why they tried to put in things like flint and fish...how many times do you come across that in whiskey? Not much. A little disappointed by this product, I was very excited when I first bought it. My wife thinks the smells are too chemical in nature and wished they used original oils. Disappointing.

If you want to develop your sense about whisky aroma, this stuff will be very useful!And sometime you don’t drink whisky for health or another reasons, this item will be good alternative.

My husband and I love scotch and this seemed like something fun we could play together. So far we haven’t played the game but we have had a great deal of fun guessing the aromas. If you know a scotch lover, and have some disposable income, you won’t be disappointed.

This was a gift to a family member for Christmas. The first thing we did was to open a couple of the scent flasks and was amazed at the quality of scents.We did not have the time to test out the game but it looks very amusing and the pamflets contained a lot of information regarding the whiskey scents.All the scents comes in a solid quality wood box, and the packaging was really solid, no dents or anything on the box.The delivery was super quick too, made it well in time for christmas even though we ordered it in december and some days before the projected delivery date.If you are a whisky lover or have someone close to you that loves whisky definitly buy this set.

First, I was a bit worried about my purchase, because this kit seems quite new in the market and there are not much buyer reviews on Amazon yet. I decided to go ahead, because Aromaster, the company which produces this kit has some excellent reviews for its wine aroma kit.I have to say that I fell in love with this whisky kit. The quality of aromas is remarkable, the packaging is very elegant and fits perfectly in my living room. The manual is very informative to understand the process of whisky making and aromas it creates. I haven't played much with the game yet, but I am sure I will find an occasion with my friends soon.
