Self-Test Every 5 Seconds
The GFCI outlet automatically conducts a self-test (auto-monitor) every 5 seconds to ensure the GFCI is continually working to protect people from electrocution, which exceeds the UL standards of self-test frequency of 3 hours.
0.025 Seconds to Break the Circuit
When the leakage current in the circuit or load equipment or the ground neutral fault reaches to the 4~6mA, the GFCI plug can break the circuit automatically within 0.025 Seconds (25ms)
Automatic GFCI adapter
Automatically restores power connected equipment after an initial plug-in or a power interruption. For applications where automatic restoration of power does not pose a thread or safety risk, automatic reset GFCIs can be used.

To test if the GFCI plug works normally for electric leakage, please follow the steps below:
Step1:
Plug the GFCI plug itself into a regular outlet and check if the green indicator light is ON;
Step2:
Press the TEST button and check if the green indicator light is OFF;
Step3:
Press the RESET button and check if the green indicator light is ON.
If the GFCI plug passes the test, then the GFCI plug is working to protect you.

I installed a ceiling mounted self retractable extension cord in my garage. This circuit is not GFI protected. This breaker gives me some protection in the event there is water on my garage floor and the circuit goes to ground. As be advertised, it resets automatically, and I don’t have to get a ladder out.

no issues drawing about 14 A through this GFCI plug-in outlet. Reset button works test button works. Everything works. My electric Homebrew kettle runs for a couple hours at 1500 watts. No issues with getting hot no tripping nothing worked great.

Bought a new frig and wanted to protect it from power surges, especially with power outages happening in the Summer. Alot of GFCI adapters have the electrical posts located on the bottom of the adapter thereby covering 2, sometimes all 4, outlets in a quad-outlet, which is very frustrating. This design is perfect of use with a 2 or 4 outlet box because it can be connected to the bottom outlet, leaving the top one free to be used by another device.I like the visible yellow color and the bright light indicating its status - easy to see when peeking behind a refrigerator or freezer.

My home doesn’t have GFCI outlets and this was WAY more affordable than adding them by hiring an electrician. I ordered a few different types of GFCI adapters, and this one is definitely the sleekest and looks the best (despite being about the price), especially if you’re putting it in a more visible location like a kitchen outlet. It also comes with instructions on how to test its functionality to make sure your outlets are safe.

AIDA Adaptador GFCI, 15 amperios, toma de corriente única, adaptador GFCI de 3 clavijas, para uso en interiores con reinicio automático, listado UL, amarillo: Lo puse en la prisa, empuje el boton test, se apago, empuje el boton reset, se encendio (por lo tanto todo ok, dice el manual), es todo. Luego connecte mi ampli de guitarra y todo funciono normalmente. Espero que en tres años, todavia funciona.
