Once I got my pressure correct, this thing sharpens coloured pencils very well. Such a good point if you need it, or it can be done blunter. Well worth the money.

Love the design it’s simple, easy to use, and easy to clean. The pencil grip and automatic stop is a nice touch. It quickly sharpens and gives pencils a nice point. I think it’s a great value! I can’t wait to see how long it lasts!

I love to sketch and need a good, sharp pencil. This sharpener produces a beautiful point without diminishing the quality of the wood body. The automatic stop is spot-on and the motor is not loud. The pencil turns out strong, smooth and the graphite tip variations are perfect for drawing. Love it!

Stop looking at more pencil sharpeners. I am a high school math teacher of 11 years. This is the best pencil sharpener I've ever had. I even spent over $70 on one once before, not even close to this one. My ONLY regret is I didnt get my favorite color.It doesn't jam. Fits every size pencil. Easy to clean. Compact. Powerful. Doesn't break the lead. Quiet enough for a classroom. It even does color pencils without shaving down too much. Stop looking. This is it. Nobody paid me or asked me to write this. I came back and wrote one because its amazing.

This is actually a very good pencil sharpener but it takes some getting used to for the proper operation of it. My wife and I tested it on all types of pencils, and from what I can tell based on the way we each do it, there is a slight difference in performance with the technique involved. My wife tends to hold the pencil from the very top and push it in. I tend to hold the pencil more like when you are writing and slowly guide it in. There are little pencil shaft grabbers holders when you first put it in that you need to get past on the sharpener, before fully inserting the pencil. If you push down from the top of the pencil, it suddenly goes in and seems to be too harsh of a thrust downward and the pencil is somewhat jammed into the hole. Whereas if you hold the pencil like you are writing with it, and use your hand as a steady guide on top of the sharpener, you can slowly guide the pencil in without the sudden jab motion.As far as the quality of the sharpened pencils, we both had success and some pencil failures because of a lower quality of pencils themselves. We probably did 40 different pencils we had around the house, different sized diameters and even colored pencils and numerous different brands too. Most of the pencils came out perfect. Some of the pencils failed in getting a proper point. This was weird in my mind. It seemed like the pencils that came out with a non centered point were actually not constructed well themselves. I even had one pencil that became much shorter because for some reason the sharpener never would shut off when sharpening it. I think the lead itself was breaking and maybe the wood was too soft. As far as sharpening is concerned, you can have the tips of the pencils set to come out with a sharp tip or more blunt tip depending on what your preferences are.So overall, a good sharpener. Just be aware of the details.

Es un dispositivo excelente. sorprende la rapidez y la precisión con la que afila los colores. no rompe las puntas.Si se usa durante la noche en un ambiente silencioso, el ruido que produce puede ser un poco alto así que yo lo uso con la puerta cerrada para evitar molestar a mi familia.Definitivamente una muy buena compra!
