Arrived in excellent, new condition. This works great so far. Our 7 yo daughter and 6 yo son still like using the myfirst pencils. They are easily and safely able to sharpen their pencils with this sharpener. The twist off cap is brilliant so far for keeping the blade covered and the shavings off the floor.

The Ticonderoga My First Large Barrel Pencil Sharpener has been perfect for my 10-year-old son while drawing and sketching. Its sturdy, large-barrel design is easy for small hands to grip, and it sharpens pencils quickly and smoothly without breaking the lead. What's really awesome is.... it's mess-free, containing the sharpenings within the twist off catch-all. The yellow and green color is bright and fun, making it easy to spot among art supplies. Very cute, a must have if you have the little wide pencils. The sharpener is good quality and sharpens the pencils as well. The size is just right for my first pencils.
