I used this test for all 3 of my dog's and found out my 130lbs German/Pit was reactive to chicken, turkey, pork, and eggs... well that's basically in all dog foods. Before this test he was gettin $250 Cytopoint shots every other month for his aggressive scratching. He scratched his face so hard he had welts it was so frustrating, and heart breaking!! But because of this test, and through lots of research I found a food that's perfect and doesn't have any of his sensitivities that this test flagged for him (3 weeks of looking at dog food labels). But we found one, he loves it, not expensive, and his itching has decreased to the point he's not getting welts. He is off of the Cytopoint as of 3 years now thanks to this test!!! He is much happier, shinier, and more healthy because of this test!! I highly recommend!! Results take time but why rush them looking at details!!

I sent the test off from the post office 7/18 it is now 8/12 and I am still showing it has not been received, I reached out to them about the test and was told -Thank you so much for your email!Your sample has not yet arrived with our lab.To confirm all samples initially go to a fulfilment centre to go through quality control, they then forward them onto our lab which is why it can take around 2-3 weeks to arrive. However, they can arrive much sooner than this.As soon as the sample does arrive with our lab you will be sent an email notifying you. The results then follow 3-5 days later.I do hope this helps!It does not help as that was 8/1 and today 8/12 still shows not received. When I asked if I should be gin to worry as its been so long I was told Yes please do not worry, it can take up to 3 weeks maximum to reach us from the date it was sent.Rest assured as soon as the sample arrives we will send you an email notification. But its been way more than enough time for it to be received. I have yet to receive a notification, email or anything else and I check the website daily. Its quite enough money to be worried when its been this long and no update at all or care of how long its taking or if it has been received at all.To add to this since they responded I have yet again reached out and heard nothing at this time. I am wasting my valuable time begging for results and information for a service I paid for and have received nothing. Feel free to reach out to me as I already have many many times and continue to do with no avail.I also think it's very odd that the reviews are all magic and rainbows on the site but that is not my experience at all. I needed this test for my beloved family member and yet this is the service I have received. 1 out of 10 and that is only because the test was easy to perform. Everything has been a nightmare.Update : I did receive another email back about my test. it says-Thank you for reaching out again. Please can you advise the date you posted your sample?It's quite common for samples to take around three weeks to reach us, but it's it's exceeded this time frame it's possible your sample might have been lost in the post. This doesn't happen regularly, but it's a possibility. If this is the case we'd need you to post in a second sample, and we can provide instructions on how to do so and put some measures in place so your sample is prioritized once it arrives.To which I sent the dates once again that were sent in each and every previous emails ( so far totaling 8) which you would think by now they would at least have that part understood.As per the email request I took another sample and paid myself to mail it back with a tracking number because I do not trust it to get lost again and since communication and it seems everything is on the customer so I could have piece of mind. I will update the review when and if I get results.ANOTHER UPDATE: I sent the results back with a tracking number so this time they could not say they didn't get my pets test in the mail. I tracked the package and it arrived 8/15. Since then it has been 2 days no communication what so ever from the company even though I have sent them another email and after I was promised -your second sample will be prioritized in our system, and we'll make every effort to deliver your report in the shortest possible time once received.I am at my wits end tomorrow will mark 1 month since I started this fight that was supposed to be a journey and a betterment of life for my beloved family member. It's sad to me that in order to get your company's attention and care that I had waited so long I had to write a review, it's also sad to me that my dog, my family member has needed this test all this time very severely and your company didn't care, communicate, or do anything at all to resolve the matter or make anything any better. I've been stressed having to deal with all of this, and wasting a lot of energy and worrying and now I am wondering if it's all been a scam or a joke and I will never see the resultsDate of experience: August 07, 2024

Ordered this. Tested my dog. Sent back, last few days of June. I've heard absolutely nothing.

I felt that I got my dogs results pretty quickly. I mailed it in, and had the results by the end of the next week.When I registered the test, I decided to pay the extra few dollars for the upgrade to the advanced test. I included a few screenshots of the results here with my review, but not all. There was additional information and results included besides what I've shared here.I like that in the received report, they do a thorough job of explaining that food sensitivities are not the same thing as food allergies. My dog Jack does have some known food allergies (chicken, lamb, wheat, potato, eggs, diary). And while the prescription diet and avoidance of his known allergens has been successful for a number of years in preventing him from having his worst symptoms, from time to time he still does have mild digestive upset and other issues. I've often wondered if his mild digestive issues are due to intolerances he may have, rather than from his allergies (since we've been successfully avoiding those - apart from an occasional reaction to a bug bite here and there). So I was happy to get a chance to try this test.It was interesting to see that (among other things) they listed Beef Heart as a high reactivity item for Jack, and they also listed Rice Flour and Brewers Yeast as moderate activity. I found this especially interesting because Beef and Rice are not things he's allergic to, yet he still does get an upset stomach if I feed him Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Beef and Brown Rice dog food which contains brewers yeast. He doesn't have an allergic reaction to that food, but it does not agree with him. I've always wondered why, since it is a very simple recipe without a lot of different ingredients. Now I may at least have an explanation. I've noticed the same thing with a few of the other things (treats) that he is allowed to have. They don't have any ingredient that he is allergic to, but some of them do have ingredients that have shown up on this sensitivity test.I always thought my dog was just had a sensitive stomach. Now with this test I feel like I at least have a chance to help reduce the things that he is sensitive to. He's 16 years old, and I'd like him to be as comfortable as possible. Time will tell if it helps.Overall, the report was nice. I liked the format and all the additional information that they shared. I only wish there was also a summary page that listed all the results together in one easy page, rather than having to keep going to different sections of the report.

Okay, this is NOT the test to purchase It has been a month and I have yet to receive results. I can’t even get confirmation that my test was delivered. I used the self addressed post paid envelope provided in the kit. I wish I knew NOT to use that envelope. If I had mailed and paid for postage, I would have purchased tracking. I have sent email inquiring twice. Each time I’m encouraged to wait. How frustrating. I used a different testing kit in the past and it was so easy to get my results and speedy as well. This kit was less expensive and I understand why…It’s appears less organized. I would ask for a return; however, there is nothing to return as I did collect the sample. Do NOT speed $60 on this kit.
