Easy to understand the package instructions, but a little difficult to get my dog to stay still while I swabbed his cheeks... Probably no worse than when we tried to get my grandmother a 23&Me test :)The results took about two weeks to come back, which is pretty quick.I have mixed feelings on the results. I mean, it's good to know that my pooch doesn't have any markers for common Labradoodle problems (though that doesn't mean he won't get something, he is perhaps less likely at least). But, things like his hair type and color were kind of moot since I can look at him and tell those things...Also, I wish they'd explained the results in more basic terms. When you click on each test, it does break it down some, but it could still be a little complicated to follow depending on the trait.If you're a breeder or looking into something like that, this is probably very helpful. If you're just a dog mom/dad, like me, it's probably not worth the cost and it'd be more interesting to get a test that tells about their breed lineage...
