What’s included in my test?

Your pet’s intolerance test results include all items displaying a score of 85% and higher. After completing thousands of pet intolerance tests, we know 85% is the turning point where symptoms begin to develop into an intolerance.

What should I do with the results?

To increase your pet’s quality of life, you should, over a period of 4–6 weeks, completely exclude the items your pets’ body is intolerant to. During this time, your pets’ body will get the peace and quiet it needs to repair itself. After this, you can either take a new test to be sure your pets’ body is “ready” or, gradually and in small increments reintroduce the items to see if there is any reaction.

How do your tests compare to blood samples?

In addition to being less invasive and significantly cheaper, your pet’s last meal may affect the results of a blood sample, whereas a fur sample has the information stored for a longer period and reflects a wider time frame.

How much fur do I need to submit?

A small amount, 5 individual strands. We don’t require clumps of fur.

What’s the difference between allergy, hypersensitivity, and intolerance?

There is quite a big difference between being allergic, intolerant, or hypersensitive to a substance however, the symptoms often resemble each other. For those who get ill from their diet, it may feel equally bad. The devil is known by many names, some might say. Our test results will shed a light on what intolerances your pet might have, in other words, which ingredients to avoid. An intolerance may pass after a period, while an allergy lasts for life.

Where are the samples tested?

All pet intolerance tests are processed in the UK. Results are emailed typically within 5 working days of receipt of your hair sample.

Horrible service. I had to follow up 2 different times and ways (never responded to emails, had to contact them on amazon directly) in order to get my dogs results. It took one month to get my dogs results. They advertise 5 working days, that's not true at all. Be prepared to have track them down in order to get your pets results. Plus no Canadian phone number can only email.

The whole process was really fast, got my results back with in a few days and they’ve been really helpful! I’ve removed some food group and I’m seeing changes in my dogs itching already.

Took a little longer than anticipated to receive results. Hard to wait when your pet is suffering. But they did come and now I can correct her diet. I am satisfied. Thank you.

Conclusione: pienamente soddisfatta

Reasonably priced, answered lots of questions and now with that information, can search for food that won't contribute to coughing/sneezing/itching.

Had our results in approximately three weeks. Easy to read report. Finally found a food our dog isn’t reacting to. No more guessing!! Wish I did this long ago. Well worth the price!

Collection was easy and a good price point for the kit, however , I paid for nothing , because I still haven’t received results.

I ordered this kit in particular because the advertisement images display percentages for each item tested. Unfortunately, upon receipt of my dog’s results, I was disappointed to learn that they do not actually come that way (image of actual results included). I was truly looking forward to the visual of 97% vs 83%… but red, yellow, and green provides a decent synopsis.I must admit that I am really impressed with the speed by which I received my dog’s results. I mailed the kit on Monday evening (5pm) and received results back very early morning that following Monday (1am).The kit is labeled “no additional fees” so I was a bit irked to learn that I had to pay for my own shipping after assuming prepaid postage was included with the kit. I opted for priority shipping so I could track my kit and have insurance on it in the case it was lost, which came to an additional $7. Given the price of this kit compared to others, the extra $7 is nominal, but like I said, it seems like false advertisement for it to be marketed as having “no additional fees.”The ease of use was incredible. There was no fasting requirement of my dog, which is necessary for May other kits. For this kit, all I needed to do way collect a few hairs, place them in the baggie provided, and send them off for analysis.I was shocked to learn that items I give my dog every single day or items that he is allergic to, namely, peanut butter and cod. For just 70 bucks, I think this kit is well worth it.Summary: Quick, easy and affordable. -1 star for it misleading me to believe that prepaid shipping was included, and that percentages for each allergen would be provided.
