The test was simple and easy to use - the customer service at DNAmydog was quick to answer my questions - The test came back and with a printable copy of her results that I can keep for her vet follow-ups as she was a rescue and I had no clue of what she actually was. Would definitely recommend this DNA test to others

I sent the test back the day that I received it. It took 2 weeks for them to tell me they received it back and then I got an email that there was an error with the sample and Iβd have to do another one. I did the 2nd test and sent that back the day after I received it. I still have not heard back from the company.

This test is absolutely bogus. I have the DNA from the parents and just wanted to make sure which dog was the dad. The test came up with breeds that none of the parents had in them in percentages that made no sense. I wrote them and asked about it and was told it was all real and then customer service gave me a bogus explanation that not all breed DNA is passed on, quite a joke since the breed they missed was at least 30%. I am a specialist in veterinary internal medicine so I have never heard such BS in my entire life. Complete waste of money, do not buy this test.

It was very informative to find out what my rescue dog was. Results came in 3-4 weeks as listed.

I sent this in the day I got it, and it has been a month with no results. The website looks good, and it was easy to register the test. The website states that they are "connecting the dots," so I'm assuming they received the sample. They also say that it takes 2-3 weeks to process the results, so if I can get those results, I may amend my review. I wanted to get a genetic age for our rescued pooch before his yearly checkup this week, but it's been a month and I'm still empty handed.

My 1 German Shepherd isn't a typical GSD. He demeanor, attitude, heightened energy levels, her vocal communications from high pitch happy screaming (yes, literal screaming) to her teeth chomping and herding behaviors.I wanted to see what else was in her breed, as both her parents were German Shepherds.Turns out she's nearly 1/4 Belgain Malanois !!Which TOTALLY explains her attachment to me, as he leader, the herding activity and communication by nipping ankles, gently taking your hand to lead you somewhere safe, her extensive energy, her demeanor being agile, tightly wound up, etc.THIS TEST HELPED!! It helped me understand my girl better. She's totally different from my other 2 German shepherd, and I've owned MANY GSDs throughout my life. This dog has so many unique traits i needed to find out what she truly is.1.This test took a bit to get the results.2. This is quite expensive.3. This test provides ample information about the breed types discovered, and offers helpful information about the specific breed behavioural traits.4. I recommend, it helped me understand finally why my girl is so unique! and now that i know, i feel more at ease knowing tips for working with and owning a herding dog, that displays the behaviours she does. :)

I waited forever for them to tell me that my dog was an American Staffordshire Terrier and a boxerβ¦lol They listed several breeds under the American Staffordshire Terrier category and itβs pretty obvious that my doggie is not a terrier. Every vet that has seen him says that he is a Mastiff. I used another company with my other furbaby and her results were very accurate. I chose this company for the genetic age test , which I havenβt received the results for yet. I know approximately how old he is, so we will see what their test comes back as. They really donβt offer much breed specific info and I was expecting them to narrow it down a bit more, that is what I paid for. I guess just a total waste of money. I wouldnβt recommend.

Our dogs DNA came back and we suspect the wrong analysis was given to us.We have a hound rescue (results came in as mountain dog and sharpei.Wich she does not look like at all.

DNA My Dog test was fast and reliable. I received the results of my puppy in a timely mannerwith the percentage of the breeds they found in her. The staff communicated very well with me through emails. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to know what breed their dog was.

It took over 2 weeks for them to receiveMy test. Then another 2 weeks for them to do the diagnostics. However, doing the test was extremely easy and quick. They have great Customer Service and I love their app that I downloaded to add my dogs profile. We were told my dog had Wolf in her. I received 2 reports: one saying no Wolf/Coyote DNA and the other report showed her 3 breeds. None of which she looks like! LOL
