What you get here is a bamboo bagel holder. It does not include a "slicer", meaning knife.....you must have your own knife for this one. It does look solid and has included 4 small black rubber discs to be stuck to the bottom of the cutter to keep it from moving when using. It is only hand washable. A couple of issues here, however. It is claimed as being adjustable.... IT IS NOT ADJUSTABLE. The only way you can make this "adjustable" is by moving whatever you have in there more to one side or the other instead of leaving it in the middle (the reason I took off 1 star as I have a thing for false advertising statements). As far as quality, 1 base edge was a bit rough (rather than smooth to the touch like the other surfaces were) and glue was sloppily used as there was clear glue clearly evident on some of the services (the reason I took off the 2nd star).
