First this MT2 to 3/4" Weldon works just fine. I had it installed and drilling a hole in 5 minutes. It's a nice solid piece and well constructed. The coolant tube it ships with is very hard, but should work just fine. Couple issues, neither of them are huge issues but they are worth noting. First the coolant collar is a little tight so there is a fair amount of drag when the spindle is turning. I oiled it up a bit and it loosened up a bit so maybe over time it will free up nicely, time will tell. Second, I measured 3 thousandths of runout with the dial indicator. This might not sound like a ton and it's not but the Jacobs chuck I was replacing had 1 thousandth of runout so its definitely the Accusize arbor/chuck. If you aren't doing very precise work this kind of runout will never be an issue for you. If you're doing some seriously dialed in machining this may be a significant issue for you. I installed this on a Jet JDP15B which is a pretty decent mid-level drill press. Overall I can't complain, as I said it appears well made and easy to service if you ever need to replace the center pin spring. For the money it's an excellent value which is why I still gave it 4 stars. I would probably buy another tier higher next time but I feel this was still a very fair deal so if this is your budget I would say you won't be disappointed.

Seems well made and very little run out in my old drill press with annular cutter installed. I purchased to run annular cutters in the press but am finding that the belts will easily slip if I apply too much pressure. This could be a function of the press or my feeds and speeds or a combination. I will play around with it to see if I get better results. I've now purchased a mag drill as well so will have something to compare it to. The hose is rather stiff and was kinked but not a big issue as it can be easily replaced. Have not yet run it with the coolant through the hose, just using a squirt bottle of fluid, but will probably attach the coolant reservoir from the mag drill.

Nice addition to be able to run annular bits on the drill press.

this fit my Jet drill press perfect, if you are going to buy one of these get this style with the feed thru coolant, I am using antifreeze until my cutting coolant gets here, largest size so far is 1-1/2" thru 1/2" AR 50 plate, perfect hole every time, dont heat up like drill bits do, I am making 4" dia washers for an 1963 Galion Grader to hold the blade to the machine.Wish I would have found this set up years ago, a huge time saver if you drill alot of holes in steel.

Works really good. Would like to mention here HOW it works...save you a lot of grief maybe... you MUST remove your arbor from your existing drill press. This does not fit into your chuck on your drill. Fear not it's easy to do. Pull the handle and bring the drill press down and look on the side, you will see a slot. This is where you insert a chuck drift, tap it with a hammer and your drill press arbor comes out and this entire assembly slides in.Put in your annular cutter into this Accusize arbor and your ready to cut holes. The size MT2 fits a standard floor pedestal drill press.

These are the only way to drill larger holes in steel! Annular bits last a long time and cut so much faster! I'd say as a rule of thumb if your cutting a 1/2 inch hole or larger in steel 3/16 thick or thicker these are a must! You wont regret it.

I needed this adapter to run annular cutters on my drill press. I was desperate and scared it might not run true. But it works fine with no noticeable run out. Spins tight and precise. Works great. But the two 5mm allen set screws are sloppy as if your using the wrong allen wrench. It came with an allen wrench and it was a very sloppy loose fit. I thought they sent a cheap allen so I began using my allens to tighten it. No luck. Wether I grab my american set or my metric set, the tightest allen is still a loose fit. So the hex head in the screw is a cheap sloppy build. But it does grip enough to tighten the allen set screws on my annular cutters and then my annular cutters spin precise and true so it works fine. My complaint isnt enough to knock a star off for since in the long wrong it actually works great. And if someday I have to replace the set screw with a better one, no big deal. But the 30 times we've used it, it works exactly as we want it to.ChrisThe owner ofAfter Hours Welding and Trailer Repair, in St Augustine Fl.
