It's a good thing that it was in a pack of 2. One of them was a metric M3 that was in a 6-32 package. Luckily, the other one was packaged correctly so I could finish the job.

Fits the tool, functions as planned so long as you don’t lean the tool while pulling. Pretty easy to bust off the threaded pull rod since this one is so tiny. I bought more and was more careful.

This is just what I needed to finish out the project that I was working on. Good quality. Work's great.

With such a small diameter, it’s very easy to snap off the threaded portion.Make sure you properly adjust your tool to account for the thickness of the metal you’re using, otherwise you’re gonna have a broken tool.

Best bang for the buck. Just don't put to much pressure on it or it'll snap off. Ask me how I know..

The 6-32 is the rivet nut with the thnnest madrel/shank. The design of the low cost installation tools makes it way too easy for me to break these. Here's how I go wrong:1) The first pull looks OK, but I can see some uncompressed ribbing on the insert. I adjust the anvil nut and go for a perfect 2nd pull, only to have the madrel snap. !@#$!2) I'm installing on a curved surface (think engine cowling) or an awkward position (think reaching up from the creeper). I put side pressure on the tool and the mandrel snaps. !@#$!There are a few things that could improve the situation. First, make these madrels out of the best, toughest steel available. I don't need titanium, but brittle steel is an swful choice. Second, the pull tool should have some kind of torque setting preventing me from an overpull. For now, the cost effective move is to keep a spare mandrel. If you break one, assume you will break another, so buy the 2-pack.P.S. there is another design requiring 3+ hands. Those last forever, but cost quite a bit more, Amazon calls it a "Rivnut Insert Setting Tool", but they don't stock SAE sizes.
