CEPIA Brush Sweep Installation Steps
1.Close the door.
Press the aluminum housing to the back of the door panel.
Mark the extra part on the aluminum part.
Mark the screw holes on the door panel.
2.Cut off the extra aluminum part by the mark with the saw.
Cut off the same extra brush with the saw, press the brush ends with the pliers.
(If no, the brush will loose and drop off as time goes by)
3.Put the proper part of the aluminum housing to the door panel.
Drive the screws through the holes half way, tune up and down, and then fasten them completely.
4.Insert the brush, press the ends of the aluminum housing genteelly.
(If no, the brush piece may get out as the door works)
Warm Attention:
The aluminum screws holes are oval-shape designed, you may adjust the brush sweeps up and down after some time.
Also, you can just change the brush without removing the aluminum part.

This fixed the large gap under my water heater access door! Very easy to install and is able to be cut to size. Now I finally don't have the problem with leaves and other debris getting in all the time.

This is a nice sweep. However, I can't use it for the reason/application it was requested. That being said it appears to be very well made, but as product testing customers, we have to keep in mind that we have an obligation to the consumer. After all, we don't pay the asking price or shipping. Therefore unless this style is what you normally use, I think this sweep is a little pricey. It never hurts to compare products.

I have two side doors on my garage one on each end and I can actually see out the bottom seal so I decided to order these to help keep the warmth in the cold out along with any bugs or critters. Install was pretty straightforward. Cut it to length put it on the door and can definitely tell the difference. I don’t have a lot of drafts by that door anymore and I would recommend this to anyone that wants one.

Seems to be good quality, I used them to fill the gap on my outer barn door. Dimensions were as advertised and fit perfectly. I had to pinch the edges because I was using them vertically to avoid the sweep from sliding out of the mounting bracket. Hopefully they will survive the NH winter, time will tell.

I put one of these on my basement door to try and prevent mice from coming in. It was a little longer than I needed, so I was able to use a band saw to cut the metal part and some clippers to cut the brush down to size. I was pretty proud of my installation until the exterminator came and told me I had installed it on the wrong side of the door (the inside).Luckily this set was a 2-pack so I was able to repeat the process on the outside of the door. Hopefully this will give me double protection from the pesky troublemakers. It would have been helpful if this came with instructions, but other than that everything was pretty easy to work with.

I have recently refurbished an old storage shed into a working tool shed/shop. I can go out there and work on projects in a separate space. Part of that refurbishment involved removing 17 wasp nests. I then sealed all the gaps they were coming in through. And I even weather stripped the door. But they kept getting in. They were coming up from beneath the door. And it was too weird of a depth and overlap and inconsistent height to just put a normal door bottom draft stopper on it. This wound up being just the thing. And, I still had a little left over that worked for under the gate in our fence.

I’ve used a similar product in the past to seal the header of my shed roll up door. That 6ft brush seal cost me more than double what it cost me to seal my 10ft roll up door on my garage with this brush seal!This one even came pre-drilled which made installation much easier. As you can see in the photos, this brush seal completely stops the light from coming in now, which also means less bugs and less of a gaping hole for heat to escape in the cold weather. All in all it’s a great product at a very good price!
