I am absolutely jumping for joy to discover these 24-pin dual inline wide package IC sockets, being sold, online. I am 58 years old and still build projects. These are injection molded and are good quality.

Needed to socket an old ECU with wide DIP28 spacing. These sockets fit well and gripped the chip tightly. great for the price

These were much better than I expected for cheap sockets. The pins have a stamped groove to resist bending and they have survived many insertion/remove sockets during developing a program using UV EPROMs. They seem pretty durable, and ended up being a pretty good deal.
