I had already soldered the included pins on one of the micro controllers I have, so I couldn't use it with that one as the pins were too large. Worked great on another one I had on which I used leftover diode legs soldered to the controller, which fit in the socket adapter great. The sockets came well packages in a thick plastic protector, no sockets were damaged, all pins were perfectly straight.

Used to double up to a 48pin socket. Worked perfectly!

Every single one had pins broken off, bent, or both. Two of the ten were 28 pin not 24. If at all possible order from elsewhere.

It works very well for socketing microcontrollers like the Pro-micro, Nice!nano, or other alternatives. If you plan on using this for a mechanical keyboard, take note that you'll need to clip one of the support braces on the end with some flush or diagonal cutters to fit the port downward like in the picture. Overall, really easy to work with and will get some more in the future.
