These are as good and dense as any bone could be. I received the unbleached ones, and made a guitar nut, which machines and polished well. I see nothing to be concerned with in ordering these.

For the price these are a good deal! I was pretty intimidated making my own guitar nut but it wasn’t too bad just a lot of time and patience. Pretty easy to sand them down, I did it all by hand since I didn’t have a machine or nothing. These are solid and much better than a plastic nut.
