Despite what some said in the comments, this does not fit the S9+. We ordered the Mophie version for the S9+ and it does not connect to the phone properly for it to charge and it didn't hold the charge for long. So beware of both.

My 7-year old phone's battery has been getting worse and is usually dead by 5 pm after barely using it throughout the work day. Then, I have to charge it several times throughout the evenings when I use it more frequently. I used this case for the first time yesterday and still had 99% charge at midnight after using it all day. I don't know how the case knows, but it kept for phone above 90% all day without pressing the "charge" button. Yes, it's really bulky and I'm not fond of the slippery feel of it, but it's a game changer for me.

I would have given this 5-stars overall, but it charges slowly. In other respects, it sseems greatThe built-in battery is 6000 MaH which is twice what the S9 has. That means you probably won't run out of "juice." I just ordered another one, in case I'm away from home for a long period (e.g. on a plane, etc.).What I initially found confusing was that the lights do not go on, nor stay on, when it's charging. Fortunately the S9 tells you whether it's charging on the home screen. You can stop charging by pressing the button in the back again. (The documentation that comes with the case does not explain this.)I currently get 1.6min/percent. That means approx 40% per hour. I've only had the power case for two weeks, so I can't say whether this performance will continue.I also like the hard *protective* plastic. I don't worry about dropping my phone.Bear in mind that this is a *one piece* case. That means you'll need a tool (e.g. a car key or something similar) to pry it open. You may risk destroying the case if you attempt to remove it with your bare hands.

I've had this battery for about a week and it has been rock solid. I cross shopped it with a few other batteries, but at half the price of most of the others, I figured I would give it a try. A few things I really like:- The fit for my S9+ is perfect. No gaps. It is snug and secure.- Easy to put in and take out of the case - you angle it in onto the USB plug and then press it in. Reverse to get it off.- Battery life is awesome. I've gotten 1.5 full charges out of it before recharging, so it will let my phone last for days.- Charging from the battery is fast-charge. Charging the unit takes a while, but I love that it charges the phone first, so you can top up the phone if you need too and not take it out of the case.Only thing I'd gripe about is the size, but that is the same with any battery backup and this one carries its size well.Overall, this case is now with me anytime I'm traveling or expecting a lot of use on the phone, which is often. Very pleased with my purchase.
