Battery cases are a bit outdated in 2025, because battery packs that connect via magsafe are less clunky and more versatile - you can use your phone while charging the battery. The case means that you have to keep your phone somewhere charging.The good thing is that it charges both battery + phone. The bad thing is that everytime you need to turn on the charging function, you have to press this very small button in the back. Doing this every time feels like a chore, as compared to a battery pack, you are already dealing with the clunkiness and heaviness of the case.Overall I'd say it's useful if you can't afford a battery pack, but if you can, get that instead.

It hasn’t been a week and the battery itself doesn’t charge. This was supposed to be a replacement for the last one that lasted only a month.For anyone who decides to buy this product. Don’t waste your time buying this

This battery case for my phone is a bit of a mixed bag. It does what it's supposed to do – extends the battery life, which is the main thing. It adds a fair bit of bulk to the phone, though, which I'm not keen on. It makes it feel quite heavy in my pocket. The case itself seems sturdy enough, offers decent protection. I've had it on for about a month now. The charging speed is okay, not super-fast, but not painfully slow either. The biggest drawback is the added weight and bulk. If you're desperate for extra battery, it's a viable option, but be prepared for a chunkier phone.

Nothing wrong with this case except it was more hefty for my taste. I really like these battery cases because they double the useable battery life.

This has turned out to be even better than I expected. My phone easily slides in or out, and it is very simple to see the battery level any time you want. I use it primarily for travel for the security of knowing that extra battery life is instantly already right there, whenever I need it.

Extra battery life on the go is invaluable. It charges quickly and provides ample power throughout the day. The case fits well, offering solid protection without feeling bulky. The LED indicator is a nice touch for keeping track of charge levels.

I had one of these for my previous phone and it saved the day more than once. For instance I had to take a relative to hospital at a moment's notice and didn't have time to charge my phone. I was there all day and my phone died, but the battery case took over. So for that reason alone I'd say you can't go wrong with this.The only thing you need to remember is that it does significantly add to the size and weight, and you will lose the magsafe facility. Other than that, and as long as you fit it correctly (bend the top back first), it's great.I've deducted a star, however, because - and I haven't figured out why but I've checked that I'm right - using the case actually depletes the battery faster than it otherwise would. For this reason I'd suggest not using the case 100% of the time, and maybe taking it off when you know you're going to be at home for long periods. Use a wire or magsafe charger at those times.

I really like this charging case because of its built-in charging plug. I had a similar case which had a short cable coming out of the case and you had to plug the cable into your phone. Having a built-in plug makes it much easier to carry your phone (with this charging case installed) in your pocket (yes, it does get bulky). You just want to make sure you are inserting your phone into the case straight into the plug, not at an angle, so you don't damage the plug. The case feels good on the hands, not slippery, and the charging speed is totally acceptable for a power bank. Also, it makes taking photos and videos on your iPhone which it is being charged so much easier as you don't have any cables getting in your way. The build quality seems to be good so I'm hopeful that this will last me at least until I get a new phone.

I got this case for traveling, I needed something that would give memaybe a couple of more hours of phone charge when I travel from where I live. Most flights are a minimum of 6-7 hours, and most are about 10-12 hours to get to a major city on the coasts. So, I didn't mind that the recharging was due to using the cord rather than mag-safe. In fact, charging the phone by the case is from a lightning connector inside the case, so it can't charge the phone that way either. It is slim for a battery case, but a little bulky for everyday use, i think. However, it does charge well in use and would also be good for freehand video filming, but a little bulky for a gimbal. Comes with an older USB cable to lightning cord which is harder to find these days of USB-C. All in all a good alternative for a cheap price so a good value.

I received this product for review: the Battery Case for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and I have been very happy with it.The Battery Case is similar to other battery cases you may have seen for the iPhone, where the battery sits about two-thirds of the way up from the bottom on the back of the case. This design leaves the top part of the case thin, sitting close to the phone and keeping that area clutter-free for taking pictures and videos.In my experience, the battery case charges the phone to 100% and then stops charging, which I appreciate since it doesn't keep pushing a charge once the battery is full. The case has a small button on the back, and when you press it for 3 seconds, it starts or stops the charge. The battery case brought my phone back to 100% when it was down to 30%, and I still had the four lights indicating how much charge was left in the case. The charging speed didn't seem very fast to me, but I didn’t mind since I was carrying the case and using the phone while it charged. When you charge the case, it also charges the phone's battery simultaneously, which is convenient because, in the morning, you have a fully charged phone and case for the day.One area the manufacturer could improve is the charging port for the battery case. I tried connecting a Lightning dongle to listen to music with wired headphones, but the iPhone didn’t detect the dongle through the case. This could be disappointing if you still use wired earphones with this case.The case did come with a USB to Lightning cable to charge the case and a screen protector, which is a nice touch.Overall, I feel the battery case is exactly what you would expect from a product like this. I love using my phone heavily throughout the day without worrying about battery issues.
