Adapter is a must for any Milwaukee polisher/sander owner. Makes it a lot nicer to have other cheaper options than purchasing Milwaukee only products.Just pair it any 5/16 24T back plate or threaded option.

I got this because I didn't realize that my Milwaukee M12 Polisher/Sander had an odd thread pitch for the backing pad. This fits into the M12 and the standard 3" backing pads I got from here, Casoman, very nicely.

This unit works great on the f¥¢¶ed up weird threads Milwaukee chose to use on their m12 buffer. Im a big fan of their tools but sometimes they really screw the customer ( pun intended) with some of their design choices. This nifty little adaptor really solves a need for me, and works perfectly. If Milwaukee sold accessories for the buffer other than the paltry 3 inch foam pad, I and others wouldnt have to look for after market 3rd party parts. Like I said, I love their tools but they are smoking crack when it comes to some of the design choices they make. Even most metric tap and die sets dont include a 9mm 14 thread die to make your own adapter. This unit is a jewel, and works perfectly. Cant complain at all. Works exactly as it should.
