They really stick. Just know that they are permanent. Very hard to remove.

The day after I put my string lights up we got some really high winds, and since then also rain. Not a single clip has come loose. The hold is very strong. I was concerned because the surface was not smooth and it might not stick well but to my surprise it has held very well. I would highly recommend the clips.

These clips did just what I needed to keep might lights up. I made sure to clean the surface with an alcohol-soaked cotton ball before application and they've stayed stuck.

Got these to put up my icicle strand lights in my balcony. They were way better than expected. Love that they are double hooks. Hold up extremely well! Definitely recommend!!

I previously used another type of adhesive hook that wasn't strong enough so I had to find new ones. I installed these about a month ago and so far it has taken some heat from the sunlight, rain, as well as strong winds. They definitely seem stronger than the little clips I previously used that had a small surface area and weak adhesive.The true test would be during extremely high heat (that may cause some glue to melt) in June/July/August, but so far these have handled moderate heat, rain, and strong winds well.Because of the larger size and the lack of an edge on one side of my pergola, I had to install them as if they were ceiling hooks and that has been holding up so far as well!As far as color goes, I also really appreciate how this company made a black version that more closely matches my pergola.So far, I highly recommend these for outdoor use!
