I got this for my brother who has to deal with the occassional cottonmouth or water moccasin. I’m no Crocadile Dundee, so no thank you on getting right in there and handling snakes without a little distance between us such as what this allows.Overall impression - this seems to be sturdy enough for low risk situations. It’ll definitely do the job and I’d rather have this than nothing. Still would make me nervous though when handling venomous snakes. Seems a little… sketchy. I think it’s fine for small snakes… but big aggresive snakes… I dunno, I just don’t feel super confident.That said, I nor my brother have had a chance to use this in the wild yet. If we do and if we live to tell about it (LOL), we’ll report back in this review.

This grabber tool was easy to assemble. Good length for grabbing around the park as teenage kids do community service. Easy grip for handle even for weak hands. However, knocked down a star for difficulty folding it back to the half size for better storage. Glad that it came with the glove and a storage bag which is a plus. Great for my hiking and community service use. Good for its value.

When assembled this doesn't feel especially sturdy, which is not what you want in a snake grabber. It may just be how it sounds because the metal pins rattle in the holes a bit, because it hasn't fallen apart yet, so I don't feel right criticizing it too much. It's just with big snakes I want to feel confident it isn't going to come apart and I don't feel it with this. Of note, it's not really good for trash pickup the way the movable jaw closes down an inch or so behind the tip of the other jaw. You end up with a lot of smaller items falling out because of this. But overall it does work for its stated purpose and it's offered at a fair price, so it's a 4 star item for me. Good, but not great.

Though it's light weight it has proven to be more durable than most grabbers. I also like it's foldability and versatility. In addition to it's purpose I aldo use it to help retrieve and grab things from areas that are too low, too high or in hard to reach places.

These tongs can be folded to save room, they are very lightweight with a strong grasp. These are great for catching and removing snakes as well as a yard debris pickup tool, we use them on our zero turn mower to pick up sticks and dog toys when we mow. It comes with a snake bag as well as a carry bag.

This snake grabber is really sturdy and well-made. I was impressed with the quality of the stainless steel. It's super easy to unfold and use, but I did struggle a bit trying to fold it back up. It's a good length for keeping a safe distance, and I'd feel much safer handling snakes with this tool. The gloves that came with it are a nice touch too. Overall, I'm happy with this grabber and would recommend it to anyone needing a reliable snake grabber.

This is a nice strong grabber with a good mechanical advantage. It's easy to unfold and assemble, but not so easy goin back into folded up configuration. Its nice and strong. I like it!
