These grow sponges are compatible with aero garden and most hydroponics growing system kit. Please soak the starter sponges kit for 10-15 minutes before use, the soaked grow sponge measures 2.6 (H) * 0.9 (D) inches. Insert your seeds into the Grow Sponge opening using fingertips or tweezers. Plant several seeds per Grow Sponge. For large seeds (e.g., pea, squash), cut opening ½” deep with scissors and insert 1–2 seeds.

These came in a bit smaller than i had expected. Thinner than most pods , but perfect for small seed!they stayed very moist when needed. They held up great to being set to a 7ph as well

I'm sure these work fine for "aerogarden" system but I assumed (incorrectly) they would work for ours as well. Unfortunately they do not fit our baskets so we'll have to figure out how to use them. Not their fault, mine! Otherwise they seem like good quality sponges.

The stickers here were better than the ones that came with my original machine. The original sticks barely covered the loop and would cave in if I wasn't perfectly precise in my alignment, but these stickers are just a tad big so I don't have to stress, but also not too big that they'd be noticably the wrong size. Best of both worlds! The sponges are classic sponges 👌

I have 12 Aerogardens and order lots of supplies. This set includes 50 labels and sponges with a set of tweezers. The sponges are fairly pliable yet a bit more dense than I prefer. I like the porous sponges with the big air holes that allow nutrient, air and water flow as well as taproot movement. These should work just fine though and seem pretty standard. These also have varying yet pretty standard height and reach to the plastic collar or just below. The drop distance in the seed hole is good. I never presoak sponges and I have 90-100% germination rates usually. The labels are standard, the same kind I have seen in many different replacement sets of which I have ordered over 40 sets from Amazon to keep up with my 12 gardens full of plants. I grow everything from Roma tomatoes and sweet peppers to lettuce and herbs. The labels are cut well and stick well on the baskets. The light does penetrate partially as you can see in the picture. Also note that these are sticky all the way across the bottom of the label so your tiny lettuce leaves may stick on as they emerge out the hole. Just take a couple toothpicks and help them out. There are few label sets where that aspect has been taken into consideration and labels are only adhesive on the outer edges. Overall, this is an affordable and adequate set of replacement supplies at a fraction of the cost of the name brand stuff. This set should last a good long while for your growing needs.

These are the only things you really need to replace when re-setting up your hydroponics garden for another crop. Other kits come with many more extra parts that truly are not necessary. Good quality planting sponges, should give about ten harvests for most people.

Love how easy it is to plant seeds with these. Easy to drop the seeds in. Easy to place in the dirt. I don't have to worry about the depth of the seed because it's all preset. So happy to have these.

This is a great replacement kit for my indoor hydroponic units. Seeds sown in these sponges germinate perfectly and the plant's roots subsequently make their way through the material, as they should. I am very happy with them. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.

The seeds sprouted about 50% of the time, which isn’t great. I’m not really sure why, but some of these growing mediums are definitely better than others.
