The 50 Amp 125/250 Volt RV/EV Power Outlet Box,NEMA 14-50R Receptacle Panel,Enclosed & Lockable, RV Camper&EV Electric Car,Weatherproof,ETL Listed (XLS250P-C) is a nice heavy-duty socket, and works fine as my generator connection into the house when the power goes out. I have a 125 amp sub panel on a safety lockout with a 15 amp GFCI circuit and two of these 50 amp receptacles on their own breakers for a parallel generator connection. If needed I can run two 50 amp inverter generators to power the whole house, including the AC, water heater, and even the oven but I usually only run one (to save fuel) and use the AC or the water heater one at a time as needed.

Quality construction, heavy-duty black finish on the metal. The power indicator light is a nice touch. substantial foam seals on the outlet cover. Very nice product overall.

I have this same box on my shop that is connected to a breaker and uses a lockout so I can kill power to the grid and use the genny to power my shop if needed. I liked it so much, that I picked up just the box to add to my enclosed trailer.Use on this is 2 fold. I can use my generator to power my enclosed trailer *which has a 120v mini split installed along with regular outlets* when using the trailer as a concession stand. I also can park the trailer next to my shop, and run a cord from the trailer to the shop as well if needed, I just need to remove the genny interlock to make that work. Super time saver when plugging in the trailer to have the AC run to cool it down for loading/unloading/temp management before bringing to the sales site.
Love it play it everywhere.

This works perfect with my new 240 V. 13,000 watt Generator. It was easy to installand connect.

I'm adding a 50A box at home to back feed my generator. During hurricanes it sucks to work 12+ hour days, restoring everyone else's service, to come home to a hot/dark house! Not this year Mother Nature, not this year....The box is heavy duty and feels well made. Taking the cover off it has plenty of room to manipulate my wires (3x #6, 1x #8). It already has (what appears to be) a #6 from back part of housing to a lug on the front cover plate to the plugs ground pin.The one thing I don't like is how they do the four knockouts. They've punched out all four and plugged them with rubber grommets. I'd prefer to knock out the one I intend to use and leave the others intact.

This 50 Amp power inlet box has been a fantastic addition for my RV and electric car setup. The NEMA SS2-50P receptacle panel is well-built and provides a secure connection. I appreciate the enclosed and lockable design, which adds an extra layer of security and keeps the connections safe from tampering. The weatherproof construction ensures it withstands various outdoor conditions without any issues. Being ETL listed gives me confidence in its safety and reliability. It's been easy to install and works perfectly for both my RV and EV needs.
