I've purchased and used this product for some time and in a household with multiple cats, find this product be much more superior to smaller boxes with thin one-time use refills. This box is large enough for a cat to stretch while clawing (and cats love to stretch and claw at the same time). The refills are thick enough so when one side is sufficiently "used," even with deep "paw scratch" areas, you can flip them over for more use on the same unit/refill. This product last longer than most any of the other competitor's "smaller" and cheaper products and should definitely and unquestionably be an "Amazon Choice" product from aspects of quality, size, price and value. Our cats love it over others and I highly recommend as it's an especially good product in multiple cat households.

My cat absolutely loves this. She likes places she can snuggle into. This box provides that as well as a scratcher. It has been well used and the box is still in great shape. I would recommend this item.

My elderly blind kitty loves this box. He uses the scratching cardboard in it all the time, and he brings his favorite slipper into the box at night to sleep. When he’s done shredding the scratching board inside the box. I just switch it out because the box came with five separate boards. This was a really good value for the price!My kitty highly recommend it!

I bought a ton of sofas, this one is absolutely the best ! Easy assembly, and the best part, it’s HUGE ! My cat Gino, he’s Italian 😂, is a very big cat. This sofa fits him perfectly. I will not buy another brand of sofa but this one here on out . I definitely recommend this sofa . I will never buy another one. Well worth the money. Oh…..and he loves it ! I’m waiting for the loveseat to come out, I’ll buy that too. 😂😂

I would not call these larger-sized. I've got larger-sized cats, so I was hoping to get something that would better fit them. This is average sized. If it weren't advertised as larger-sized, I would give this product 5 stars because it is a good value.

I like that they get used up in the box they come in and that they are double sided, lengthening their functionality.I had previously purchased an L shaped cardboard scratcher with flimsy wooden sides and these big plastic 'cardboard' screws that stands vertically. When the cardboard inserts wore out, I wasn't able to find a replacement insert. I took the L shaped scratcher apart, added velcro to my wall and the wooden sides, then screwed these scratchers to the wooden sides to hang them from my wall. My cats absolutely love the vertical scratching, and I like that they are double sided and replaceable. So now these work for me both vertically and horizontally.My only pet peeve with these is the mess they can make as my cats work their way through them. I will say they seem to enjoy these a bit more than the scratching post and my little cat also enjoys sinking her teeth into them.Will buy again!
