Plain-jane brackets but sturdy and well made. Phillips screws are super easy to strip, careful! Not convinced the screws are stainless as well. Cover plates don't fit tight so be prepared to add a dab of silicone or construction adhesive.

So there’s a part tO these that don’t stay in place. Once they’re screwed in there’s a part that covers the screws and it just hangs there! It’s absolutely ridiculous and poorly made. I’d return these but I needed something there and my husband put them on already

I love these. They're very sturdy, look nice, and hide the screws when you're done. My only issue is that they were a bit of a challenge to install. The cap for over the screws would get in my way and some of the screws were demolished by the drill and had to be replaced with other ones. Honestly probably my fault though because I didn't pre-drill holes first.Also really happy with how easily the rail screws go in though. I like them so much I've bought more to replace all of ours for both stairs.Tip: If you're installing them alone, tape the cover to the railing while your putting in your wall screws.

these are not thin nor fragile and have a hefty weight that will support a handrail with no problem. Well constructed.Haven't installed it as yet, still waiting for the opportunity with the weather so that I can cut and paint my long rail outside. I gave it a 4rating only because it is not installed as yet.

Easy to install, strong, looks nice. The circular covers don't snap unto the bracket however, so I need to get something tacky to hold them in place.
