The most common metal used to make and sell is usually a very soft metal like pewter . Fat people like me will break these and replace them every couple years or less. Pretty sure i will never need to reolace these are high quaility

Had a light-duty rail mount break so I bought three of these to replace the light ones. These are solid and install the same as others: three screws to the wall and two to the rail. The screws seem to be of good quality.

The handrail brackets are made well, are in the color needed for the replacement of the old handrail brackets. The former only 2 handrail brackets that bent from excess weight put upon them. They broke from the wall thus destroying it also. Once the wall is corrected, these handrail brackets, a 3 pack will look great and will be more sturdier than the old ones. They will be able to support more pressure against them, as weight will be spread out move evenly when in use.

This support worked great.The only problem is, being soft metal the Phillips screw heads ripped out easily upon installation.

Well made hardware for attaching a handrail to a wall. This was a replacement situation for me. One of the original brackets broke. These are so much stronger even the screws are Phillips (+) and work great.. Unfortunately. only the bottom hole of the three was reusable. New pilot holes were required for the other two. Also, I suggest you use a stud finder to be sure the original installer centered the brackets on the stud. Mine were not centered so I had to do some repositioning of the bracket. The wide base of the brackets covered any boo-boos on the drywall. They look great and work well. I would buy again.

these brackets are very sturdy. We replaced a set of single screw brackets that broke with these and are very happy. Screw were just the right size and easy to install. Love them.
