These brackets are in fact 3 1/2” and do not fit 3 1/4” T Rails. I am returning them. I will follow up if I have any return issues.

I wanted to return this item but was told manufacturer must give permission. they never responded to my request. now I am stuck with this item

Be aware that you only get enought brackets to do half of a single handrail. Had to order another set to do the other half of handrail costing another $25 plus tax.
