We needed to install a handrail along our stairs. This was the right color. The set size was what we needed for our basement stairs. Everything seemed to install as expected. The handrail feels sturdy attached to the wall.

This bracket set for staircase handrails is of high quality and feels very sturdy and durable. The black finish does not scratch easily and gives it a perfect look for a farmhouse, rustic and even modern decor. Highly recommend. I will update if any issues arise in the future.

These are nice solid hooks that come with mounting screws. They look nice and would be great for coats, hats, or even dog leashes.

The square end piece interferes with how the railing would sit on the bracket when used on stair rails. It would probably be fine for a horizontal rail. The square accent interfering when used on angled stairs results in the saddle brackets being at least 3/16" too short to connect to the railing. I was able to bend the bracket as the screws tighten and make it work, but it wasn't easy or ideal.

This set of 4 stair handrail brackets comes with the required support accessories. The metal has some nice quality weight to it and the black matte finish looks really nice.

TLDR: Quality bracket and easy to install.We just got a house with a split level foyer that does not have a handrail going downstairs. We got some quotes ($500-$700) but opted to DIY after we saw the price of the brackets and handrail. These come in a bag with the pieces in separate little baggies to keep them from getting scratched up from the screws and other metal. The bag has a QR code on it that shows you installation instructions. After watching a few "This Old House" videos, I was ready to go. Overall, the whole project took less 30 mins and the brackets have been holding up nicely for the last few weeks.
