J'ai dû modifier un peu les embouts pour la grosseur de mon fusil et cela fonctionne très bien. Satisfait sans avoir à retourner le produit.

These plastic welding tips heat up quickly and smooth out the plastic welding rods beautifully, I was able to repair The bumper on my Audi that was in Three pieces. Nobody thought it was possible. I couldn't have done it without these tools.

Used it to join multi piece printed parts (ABS), set up on a 40W soldering iron it worked great. Haven’t tried thicker material yet (mine was around .060in) but geometry wise the tips were easy to use.

Update: Upgraded my rating to five stars for their great customer service. Seller gave me refund on their own. In my opinion this shows they care about their customer satisfaction and reputation. Will definitely buy from them again, knowing that they stand behind what they sell. Appreciated & thank you!Not Great quality control. The description does state .2” / 5.08mm with slight deviations. However, those slight deviations are questionable, up to .23” / 5.73mm… I have a soldering iron with the hole of 5.43mm and it’s tip is 5.03mm. The tips I received were as follows:Solder tip 5.45mm, round & too bigFeed-thru 5.31mm, round & fit greatLarge triangle 5.56mm, not round & too bigSmall triangle 5.73mm, not round & worstHindsight, wish I just returned these tips and not wasted my time getting them to fit. “DO NOT” drill out your iron! I drilled out my iron out to 5.55mm and yes the iron still works. However, less material for the holding screw & heating, my bad. Also after doing that, I still needed to file the 2 larger tips to get them to work... Hindsight is truly 20/20!!!

I've only welded a couple of things to this point and I've only been using my soldering iron to do it, which is less than ideal. This set took a little adapting to work in my soldering iron but I knew I would have to do that when I ordered them, so no marks off for that. (It was easy to adapt them with just a file and a die, in case you were wondering.) It didn't take long for my iron (80W I think) to get the largest tip up to a working temperature, maybe 5 minutes, and it got plenty hot enough to weld my test piece. Don't judge it on the poor weld. That's a container that's recycling bound, so I didn't put a lot of effort into it past ensuring it worked, which it did. I really liked the tip with the feed tube on it. I cut a strip from another part of the container and was able to easily feed it through to provide extra material for the joint. You'll want to have a bamboo skewer or matchstick (blunt/non-sparky ends, obviously) handy to push the last bit all the way through when you're done. I'm glad I have these and that there's going to be a little more plastic repaired around here than sent to an uncertain fate at the waste facility. I'll update my review after I get to use these some more, should I encounter anything that warrants it.

When I ordered these plastic welding tips, I took for granted sizing was common, but I quickly discovered they were larger than my soldering iron could accommodate. I took a small grinding wheel to them and had them fit the iron in a couple of minutes. This mistake is on me.The tips heat up quickly. There is a small triangle, a soldering point, and two large triangle tips. One of the larger triangle tips has a nipple that allows the feeding of your plastic material directly under the tip. I tried the feed nipple with some 3D printer plastic and with some zip ties sliced narrow. My soldering iron only has one setting and the feed nipple quickly heated up and I struggled with material melting before it got to the welding surface. It was easier for me to place the welding material over the crack and run the welding tip over it.In just a couple of minutes, I was able to seal a long crack in an old poly fuel tank for my weed trimmer and the weld held liquid nicely after I was done. For the price, these welding tips pay for themselves almost instantly, and being able to seal poly fuel and water tanks is going to be a real boon around the farm.
