This jacket was well worth buying! Bought this jacket before going to New York City, kept me warm and the battery life was better than expected. The jacket is soft and wears very comfortable.

The jacket hits a LOT of the perfect spots for a standard jacket, let alone one that is heated. The back and chest are fur-lined while the arms are nylon for easy arm insertion. The heating elements are well-placed if not a little on the small side (the ones in/by the pockets are about 3"x3") but do a good job of keeping you warm. It takes a little bit to warm up, but once it's going it keeps you toasty! The battery pack included is a little chonky but I like the LCD indicator of power remaining. On high, I lose about 10% of the battery about every 40-45 mins...YMMV. The battery does take a bit to charge, even with a rapid charger, so be prepared for a bit of a wait if the battery is flat. I understand why the battery pack uses a barrel port, but it really limits your ability for a longer day if high heat is needed.Things to improve: add a pen pocket on the arm(s), increase the size of the heating portions, add padding/insulation to the outside of the hand pockets (there is none and without gloves the outside gets pretty cold), add a detachable insulated hood

I bought this jacket for winter flying in my C172. I live in Northern MN & the weather often reaches negative temps. This jacket exceeded my expectations & actually keeps me very comfortable. I also wear it out & about as it's extremely soft & looks great. I'm 6'4", 210 lbs and often have trouble finding jackets that fit well. I am very happy with this & would buy again.
