Was surprised that these tools resemble the tools 10x the cost.

I’m getting into aquascaping again and I can’t believe I haven’t bought these until now.. they make EVERYTHING easier! From moving decor and gravel around in your tank, to scraping algae off of surfaces! The scissors are not as sharp as I expected which is a bit disappointing, and I did not receive a blue bag like some did, I have a feeling I may struggle with finding storage for these. The quality is decent, you get what you pay for but not in a bad way. I haven’t had to clean them yet but it seems like it would be easy to do. If you’re thinking about buying these as budget tools just do it! They will make your fish keeping experience 10000x better!

We use them nearly everyday and I don't always dry them off. So far they've held up well and have not rusted. They appear as pictured. I do wish they came in a longer size for my 55 gallon so that my hand didn't go in the water. But its long enough fro my 10 gallon. The scissors are sharp. I used them to cut cube sections off the frozen food for the fish, cut open bags, and trim plants. If I'm careful I can use them to grip or pick up things. The rake has held up well to my abuse. I use it to even out the sand in the aquarium and to cut up the frozen food for the fish. I almost feel like I'm going to break it when I use it for the frozen food but it hasn't bent at all. It's very sturdy!

I have been disappointed before with other aquascaping tools and was reluctant to try another but I am so glad that I did! Finally, a set that does not rust! The metal is strong, not easy to bend or break. I use the flat rack to help divide live black worms and it hasn't yet bent with all my "chopping".The scissors are sharp and although I do dry them and keep them in the open position hanging down to aid in completely drying it out, I have yet to suffer from surface rust and I highly doubt it will ever up with rust. The tongs are long enough for me to plant plugs and buy fertilizer tablets without worry about bending. Finally, a set that is worthy of buying and using for the long haul of your fish keeping life.

The 4Pcs Aquascaping Tools Kit by Jeimier is a solid choice for beginners or hobbyists who want an affordable set of tools for maintaining a planted aquarium. The tools are lightweight but feel sturdy enough for general use. The length is perfect for reaching into deeper tanks without disturbing the setup too much, and the variety of tools (tweezers, scissors, spatula, etc.) covers most basic aquascaping needs. That said, the metal finish could be a bit smoother, as some edges feel slightly rough. Additionally, while the tools are strong, they might not be ideal for heavy-duty tasks or very dense plant arrangements. They’re best suited for delicate trimming and planting.Overall, this is a good value for the price, especially if you’re just getting started with aquascaping. For more advanced aquarists, you might want to invest in a higher-quality set, but for casual use, this kit gets the job done.
