I've got a budget priced, concert sized acoustic that plays well for what it is. I was playing around with the idea of buying a new guitar at a higher price point, but decided to give it some love and try to get it sounding and playing better instead.For a cheap upgrade, replacing the plastic nut and saddle with bone has done wonders, and this item (along with some feet polishing and a new set of strings) seems to have done the trick. After some sanding and filing the guitar now sounds and feels so much more premium I'm honestly kind of surprised. It's still not perfect (and my luthier skills definitely need some work) but it's better than it was, and I look forward to giving it another shot sometime since this listing includes two sets.All in all, this purchase has put a damper on the urge to spend hundreds of dollars on a new instrument, and I can't find any faults with it.
