Amazing quality easy to work with without little sanding down for size fits perfectly in my bridge and it definitely changed my fg700s yamaha acoustic guitar to very mellow warm tone love how it changed it

Absolutely excellent! The stock nut on my wife's Yamaha FS800 was WAY too high and physically hurt to play in the first fret. This was the reason why my wife quit playing. Additionally the action was too high as well. I was able to easily fit and install this bone nut and saddle and now the nut slots are at the correct height and the action was lowered to a low/medium range. It's like we have a completely new guitar. Bonus is that the natural bone color looks better than the stock white plastic and originally the guitar had a lot of buzzing right before the nut (which I used an elastic hair-tie to eliminate) and now with the new nut the buzz went completely away so no need for a work-around.Just be aware that you will have to sand these down to get them to work for you. The saddle was almost an 8th of an inch higher than the stock saddle so I had to remove quite a lot of material before I could even start lowering the action. The nut was almost an exact copy of the original so I only had to remove a little from the bottom before the nut slots were at a good height. I could have used nut files to get everything 100% perfect but just filing the bottom got me 99% of the way there and there is no buzzing so all is good. Just remember to go slow. This is the first time I've ever fully set up an acoustic and I think it is a pretty easy project even for a first-timer.The only negative I had was was the nut was slightly too thick on the treble side. I had to not only sand from the bottom but also the side to get it to fit. Just a minor issue.

fit perfectly on a 1969 yamaha fg110. slots are perfect for light gauge strings (10s i think are on there). just know you'll probably have to file down the height of both nut and bridge - i put the file against a vertical metal plate (desk part)- to ensure i filed it down evenly. its not hard.

Took minimal sanding to fit my yamaha fg830. Good quality material, string spacing and depth of grooves were a match to original. Saddle radius is different however it matches the fretboard radius. Made an improvement in tone. Nothing drastic, more like an EQ adjustment that was much needed.

Bought it for my Yamaha FG830 to replace the plastic saddle (I haven't tried the nut yet). The saddle fits perfectly. Just had to sand it down a bit to adjust the height (which is a personal preference, of course). The guitar sounds so much better with this saddle. I did not expect that the difference would be so significant. Definitely worth the money.

This bone nut and saddle set replaced the plastic on my entry-level Yamaha guitar. The nut fit perfectly as it came; the saddle needed to be sanded a bit thinner and lower and shaped to the appropriate profile, but after about an hour's work, it is just right. Oh, my gosh what a noticeable difference in sound. I combined these with a set of brass bridge pins; the results are night and day. The guitar is brighter, fuller, and has more sustain. I always found this cheap dreadnought to be noticeably unbalanced between the bass and treble sounds; so much better now! And the unbleached bone contributes a vintage look; much better than the artificial white of the plastic. What an upgrade for almost no money! Highly recommended.

I purchased these for my Yamaha FS850, the nut went on without modification and the bridge just needed a little sanding to get the string height correct. Very happy with both pieces.

Saddle Fits tight. And nuts I haven’t put on but seems like the size are similar. Saddle is great. I sand it down bcuz it’s little too tall for my taste. But you can definitely just put it on. Also great price too
