We wrapped the trunk of a new crabapple tree we just planted to protect it from the winter snow. Will update with any problems, but so far so good. The wrap is lightweight and easy to use.

Well, aside from the color, this tree wrap is exactly what I expected. However, because of the color we will likely be returning it. I have been using a white version of this wrap for years but I thought that beige would blend into the tree bark better. Not so much! As you can see from the pictures, this wrap will still look yellow on a tree trunk, especially when considering the necessary overlap.Even though I thoroughly hate the color, this tree wrap is decently thick yet breathable due to its pores / tiny holes. It’s a very large roll at 8.5” in diameter and 3 1/8” wide, making it a great value for the price (the only reason I’d consider keeping it). It doesn’t smell bad and seems durable enough.Although I imagine this tree wrap will function just as well as what I’ve used in the past, I don’t think it will be as easy to use due to the sheer size of the roll. Two smaller rolls would definitely be easier to wrap a tree trunk, without fumbling such a large roll.Overall, I think functionality will be good but ease of use not so good. And the yellow color is definitely the deal breaker for me.

We used it for our banana plat for the winter this season. First impression is great. It covers the trunk really well and seems to be able to hold the cold this time.

Haven't used it yet will this weekend get a large roll great value for the price
