This is a good starter kit that includes everything needed to build a cover over your plantings. It's different from others in that all the poles, clips and connectors are plastic, so there's nothing to rust. Also, the hoop curves are preformed, which gives you options for creating covers that are wider and lower, or narrower and taller. The only metal parts are the large wire staples used for securing the netting to the ground. They go through round plastic discs that act as clamps and keep the mesh from pulling against the staples. Very well thought-out, in my opinion. The mesh itself can be cut to size and is not prone to unravelling since it's also a plastic type material. Water and sun can easily get through. I wouldn't count on this for keeping out all bugs, but certainy the bigger ones will be less of a problem - and the rabbits and deer won't have as easy a time getting to your plants.

I have to use netting to keep the chickens out of my garden. I have other similar systems where the arch poles are a lot thicker and stronger. However, my other poles are made of plastic. These are more like a fiberglass tent pole. The diameter is about half the size of a standard tent pole. They are pretty flimsy. But if you are installing them under a net, the net helps hold them upright as long as you get the poles down into the dirt to a good depth for support. What I like best about these is the ability to extend them and make them as tall as I need which is a feature I don't have on my other kits. This was great for raising it up over my taller plants. For climbers like peas, I used a guide wire and stakes that I had on either side of these to support them and ran wire back and forth on the arch to give the peas a climbing area and that's also working out well. Overall, good product.

THis is a great product. I used it to cover my garden box.The only thing I did wrong was I should have stapled all the edges first then cut the top down the middle to gain access to the garden.This would have allowed me to use the clamps at the top only.I will definitely order another one for next summer and install it this way.Keeps all bird, squirrels and insects.

I got the 10x30ft netting, which is more than enough netting for a small garden. You don't realize how much it really is until completely unfold it. But the amount of framing included should scale with the size of the netting. 12 curves and 16 straights (I think it was supposed to be 18, but only 16 were included in my kit) aren't enough to make use of the full 30ft of netting. The framing feels like it's metal tubing covered in a plastic coating and very sturdy. It's very easy to push into the ground despite the size. The netting stakes do a great job staying in the ground and provide a good enough ground seal to keep out larger animals. Time will tell if the rabbits chew through the netting though, so far, they haven't after a week. The clips are very easy to use and clip the netting to the frame.

This was easy to set up, all materials were easy to use. We were able to adjust it to fit the size of our gardens. It protected our vegetables from the deer, which is a huge bonus - they didn't touch one thing under these. As a whole it's lightweight, sturdy when in use, perfect size for what we needed, and it actually looked nice when in use.

GREAT ITEM for the price!!! We used this in our backyard this summer for our garden! Everything worked as well as you would expect; not that gardens are ever the easiest to maintain! Comes with everything you need to get started!
