I covered six hibiscus plants, 2 ferns and on daisey with this product for the Houston freeze. Not one survived. I had an old covers that I used on all other plants and they all survived.

I held them up to the sun and they blocked it. This is not what I wanted. I bought freeze covers last year that I coulddf keep on the plants as they allowed sun through, but I couldn't find those again in the sizes I need. These I have to take off once the weather reaches 45 & put back on before sunset. The search continues; however, I did appreciate the sizing and the ease of drawing them open and closed.

Good product. I use it to protect shrubs from relentless deer/antelope grazing and high winter winds. Its a tough environment (Montana mountains), but this is doing the job quite well so far

I have a lot of plants and can’t bring them all inside during the winter months. These have really helped with the ones I have on our deck that are sensitive to 30 degree temps. I’ve had some that fell apart after a year or so even though I pack them away during the summer. These are very good quality and a bit heavier fabric. If it gets much colder than 30 I use 2 and wrap the base of my plants with blankets. I live in Alabama so our winters are not be as harsh as other states so I can’t say how they would work if it were colder.

The drawstring is solid unlike the other ones I tried. The material is heavy enough for me to feel confident it can keep out drafts, and really protect my bushes.
