Seems to be functional, unfortunately these things take time, lots of time. So I won't know for at least a few days, possibly weeks. I wish there was more information on which size of these for what size batteries etc. And its a gamble on "how much" sulfation has or is currently in the battery so hard to say how long to leave it on...

Ran this on one of my older marine battery that I may have abused a bit. And I expected this to be in that category of 'Well it might do something but not good' type of category. But for the first time in 3 years this battery held a 13v charge and kept the lights on as long as I remembered. So noticeable improvement on peak charge and length of use. Color me impressed. This took a month of running this to get to that point, but it got there. Not a HUGE difference, but noticeable. As with something that works these days, it comes at a cost. The pulse makes a scream level tone every second. This tone clears walls like they don't exist and make that room audibly uncomfortable. I was saved by my headphone gear, but the wife HATES IT. I don't really blame her, tbh. In a garage is worse as it resonates. So this ended up in a wood crate with spaced slats on a shelf. Battery gets hot and needs to vent. do not enclose it. If you have this in a remote location, the pulse lights a LED when it fires. Crystal clear on security camera and just something else to know what is going on if you cannot hear. They do not really stress as much that I'd expect that the battery is what is powering this device. The battery needs to be isolated or disconnected as well. So you'll need to check the battery every few days that you do not deplete and seriously damage the cells. After a couple weeks I found that my deep cell battery needed to be hit with a full recharge cycle every Saturday. Voltage depleted down to 10.4V and really needed to be back up in the 12's. Disconnecting the Negative side and hooking back on gets the initial start that shows cell and current voltage. Easy. Didn't need anything else and the stated charge was accurate when testing against a multimeter. If you have a lot of vehicles that you do not regularly run, this could certainly bring life back to a lot of older battery. It won't resurrect the dead, but I love the idea of saving money for a few seasons with what I have.

It was difficult to evaluate if this device was actually working and I think I may know why.I hooked this desulfonater up to a couple of poorly performing 12V lawnmower batteries (in series for 24V) and left for 3 weeks. Didn't see any improvement. The company suggested I do each 12V separately. That's when I realized that the condition of one of the batteries was significantly worse than the other which was probably what was preventing proper operation during that 3 week period. The OK battery showed did gain a bit of capacity after a week on the device but I suspect it was also on the way out.I switched my attention to a couple of UPS batteries that needed replacing. Again, one of them was totally wreaked. Using my IMAX B6 to charge the other battery, it reported that there was 1900mAh of capacity. Obviously not great. I put the device on this battery for a week and re-tested. The battery now had a capacity of nearly 9000mAh! That's basically brand new.I think the trick here is to get a good battery, use it for a while then rejuvenate it with this thing every once and a while. With a bit of effort you should be able to save yourself having to buy these Lead-Acid batteries all the time.First of all, this is not just a blinking light in a box. I cracked open the case and there is a very well made circuit board populated with the components you might expect for this kind of job. I figured there's no way someone went through all this effort and expense to make something that does nothing.
