Not really sure about this charger. Output is fine and it does charge the batteries however the intelligent function did not work on my setup like it should. i have (4) 12v 18ah batteries setup in a 12v parallel configuration and this charger did not work properly. Not sure if it was my batteries or what happened but 2 of the 4 swelled up as if they were getting too much charge. This didn't happen with my other maintainers. Build quality is also questionable as it's made of cheap plastic and the wire gauge is thinner than the one that this unit replaced. Overall, did not have a good experience with this charger but not going to dock all stars since it's a slim chance it was my batteries.

I received it few days ago and I have used it once for my car. It’s getting cold recently and my battery is not working well. I used it to charge my cars battery and it works perfectly. I will try to use it for motorcycles later.

The Liniotech Advanced Automotive Battery Charger & Maintainer is a great addition to my garage. Not only can it charge and maintain conventional vehicle and RV deep cycle batteries, many of the batteries I'm replacing in my 12v devices are being replaced with lighter, longer lasting lithium ones. Although most of them have a built in BMS and can be charged with conventional chargers, they are not being charged to their full potential, and using a lithium specific charge profile on lithium batteries fully charges them and gives them a longer service life.

I bought this because it says “maintainer” in the description, which I assumed meant that you could use it for a float charger if a battery wasn’t being used. Now I’m not sure that this charger does that. When you read through the instructions, it looks like it goes through numerous stages. It reads like it does do a float charge, but only for 2 hours, then followed by a full stop. It does charge batteries and I do like the way the readout cycles through how many amps and the current voltage.

I recently purchased a motorcycle however it’s not my daily ride. The battery dies since I don’t run it too much so having this battery charger is just perfect! It charges my battery so quick. If you are ever having battery issues this is the right product for you! Its also super affordable!!

Only used a couple of times so far but it works great and very fast. For the price it's a bargain as long as it lasts.

Great battery charger, brought my old battery back to life with ease. I like it because it is able to handle both traditional batteries as well as AGM batteries. I can utilize the 20A quick charge for vehicles that has been sitting very long and using the tickle mode to bring the battery back to life, recommend for DIYers like myself

Let's get the bad out of the way first: I found this unit charges and floats at excessive voltages, which could lead to shortened battery life. While charging, I was seeing (and measuring) voltages to 15V, and once charge, it seems to float at 14V. Battery experts recommend charging at no more than 14.7V (14.2 is probably better), and floating at no more than 13.7-13.8V. (These numbers are all for 12V lead acid batteries.) Thus, I don't think I'm going to be using this much for charging, and definitely not for float/maintenance.With that very large caveat out of the way: Operation is pretty simple; the first time you turn it on you need to select a 'mode' such as car battery, mower battery, etc. which really just sets the maximum current output (for the size of the battery). There is also a de-sulfation mode.An important feature is that if there is a power outage or glitch, when the power returns, this charger will come back on in whatever mode you last set it to, making it useful for an always-connected float charger. (Beware of some other chargers, which in the event of an outage will return to a home menu requiring that you RE-select a mode, before they will start charging.) The unit seems a bit larger than some others, but perhaps part of this is the internal fan that keeps the unit cool.
