I already have a charger on my bike. but then I found this great new feature, that you can actually charge the motorcycle battery from the type c? sounds great. and it works!During winter I barely use the bike, But need to turn it on now and then or put a battery tender to keep the battery alive. This fix all that. Now I can just connect a wall phone charger (PD) to this charger, and will keep the main battery charged. I can leave it like this 24/7 or just connect it once a month. Also, you can use a battery bank. That means if where you store the bike has no outlets, you can use a battery bank (better if it supports PD), and charge the bike main battery with it.Or lets say that you forgot the bike on, or a wrongly wired light, stayed on and drained your battery. You can use a wall charger or a battery bank to recharge the battery to then start the bike. So no need to remove plastics or anything if you run out of battery. Is way easier to find a battery bank or phone charger and charge your bike in an emergency than a 12v battery charge, and need to remove plastics to get to the battery.10/10!

OK, this charger is really cool. I don't even have a motorcycle, but I do have 12 Volt batteries in my shed that doesn't have access to power. This little charger is great because it lets me hook up the very commonly available 5volt USB C solar chargers for my cameras that I have set up at the shed.I can hook them through this charger to charge my 12 Volt batteries.

This is an extremely well made and designed USB port for motorcycles. This comes with a metal handlebar clamp for mounting, and the housing itself is also made of metal. This has a built in digital readout that shows the amount of voltage, and which direction it is going, "out" means it is letting the bike power or charge a device, while "in" means that a power supply or device is charging the bike battery. This supplies up to 100W of power for charging or powering devices, which is a lot. There is a USB A port, and a full USB C PD port that provides up to 20 volts as needed. Fast charging is indeed a reality with this unit, and my phone charged from 20% to full in about a 40 minute ride, which is a fast as I ever get. The unit gets wired into an accessory power line, so there is never any fear of having your battery go dead because you left a key on too long. You can use this to charge your bike battery by using a USB C cable from a power bank or charger, and plugging it into this unit. The wiring is all pre-wired into a harness with plug together jacks everywhere but where it gets tied into the power and ground on the bike. This thing is very high end quality, and it works absolutely great. I think this is worth every single penny of it's cost due to the outstanding quality and the exceptional features it offers. I like this a lot, and I can strongly recommend it for anyone who needs a USB port on their motorcycle!

Just wow, this is really a fantastic charger, way above all the other ones I have been using so far on my motorcycles. Here is why:1) Not only it is a USB output, it can also act as a USB input. This is great during storage, just connect a regular USB C power supply, and you can charge your batteries in storage! Can also be used in a pinch if you happen to discharge your battery2) 100W output is great. This is one of the few units that can provide something other than 5V. It can provide the full range of USB C PD voltages: 5V but also 9V 12V and 20V. You can charge a laptop from this thing!3) $29.99 at the time of reviewing is barely higher than the price of vastly inferior products. I had to double check the price, is it really this low? Yes!4) All aluminum, not plastic like othersWhat I like less is that there are too many writings on the unit. I might spray paint it black. I want something discreet. Marketing should go in the Amazon listing, not on the product itself. But that's a minor nit.Overall a great product. Highly recommended. I plan to switch all my motorcycles to this charger. If one of your relatives is a motorcycle rider this would be a great gift, most probably ignore this even exists.

When I first saw this I was curious whether the cost could be justified by the apparent improvements included in it - pleased to find out this is a clear step above the charger I'm replacing.Unlike most of cheap Chinese-built USB ports, the casing for this is metal, not plastic. The handlebar clip is also metal. I've already broken those plastic clips twice while riding offroad, so I'm hopeful this holds up a lot better over time. It includes an ACC line so you don't have to remember to turn it off when putting up your bike for fear of coming back to a dead battery - a little more challenging to wire up, but a common retrofit many people make with these anyway. The USB-C upgrade from my old charger is nice, but what I was really excited about is the USB power-in - I normally use a trickle charger to maintain my battery during periods of non-use, but there's a certain added convenience to having a USB port right on the handlebars you can use for that purpose. By hooking it up to a USB-charging solar panel, I'm able to keep my battery topped off year round as long as I knock any accumulated dust and precipitation off the panel. There's an inline charge controller and an inline fuse on the live power line to protect your bike from overcharging. So, it's not as cheap as a $20 plastic USB ports, but it comes out of the box with everything you'd want to upgrade on one of those, won't run out your battery if you forget to turn off a switch, is more durable, and provides a convenient way to keep your battery charged up when you've got your bike parked. Overall, 100% a win over my outgoing handlebar ports and well worth the extra money.
