The timer is easy to set and use. The fittings are brass instead of plastic. Much better for durability and ease of hose connection.

Love this timer, it allows me to run a single hose to a garden bed and split it off to 4 different zones so that i can water a HUGE area without a booster pump or anything. Just setup 4 zones and program it to run one at a time and you now have 4 times the sprinkling power without spending lots of money. This solution, honestly, works better than the bed where i added a booster pump so that i could run more sprinkler heads on the same well pump.Incase you were wondering about this working with a soaker hose system, it does, one of our zones is a soaker hose, another is drip with 2 sprinkler zones. They all work great, just remember that soakers and such need longer times than impact sprinklers, so you often can't have each zone be the same time unless they are the same number and type of sprinkler

We have a large vegetable garden that needs lots of watering. In some cases certain vegetables need to be watered at the roots versus a sprinkler from overhead. This four zone valve is a great solution for us and eliminates the need to move sprinklers. Note that only one zone can operate at a time. We now have soaker hoses and sprinklers where appropriate on the various zones and the garden watering is complete. Hose connections on the valve are brass which is great. This is a heavier valve so make sure it is supported. (A bracket is provided if you want to mount it to a wall while connected to a outside hose valve connection). instructions are good and it is easy to program.

It appears to be very well built. Nice 3/4" brass fittings. Working pressure -8-120 psi, so make sure your house water pressure is not too high.Operating temperature stated as 38 to 120F, so you'll want to take it off as fall arrives. Great instruction manual. Has a lock button to ensure settings are not inadvertently changed after the setting.Four zones will be great to control the various plants, flower, and shrubs around the yard, each with different watering appetites.

Great quality water timer with metal threads. Easy and concise instructions on how to program the timer. The timer is simple to use, but will do exactly what you need for the four watering options. The pressure coming out of the nozzles is really good and having the ability to run different length hose to different watering spots is also very convenient. Hopefully this will keep my garden area watered without having to move different hoses to different plants and at different times. A really good purchase for the price.

This seems like a high quality device. It comes with basic hardware to install a stabilizing bar against an exterior wall if you faucet happens to be coming out of the wall. This would help stabilize it on the input faucet connection especially if you have all four hoses connected, one for each watering zone. It is battery operated and uses 4 alkaline AA batteries. The battery compartment has a gasket to keep it waterproof.The instruction manual is well written and has fairly large font so it's readable. I don't know how long the batteries last until I start using it for a period of time. Overall, it seems like a good unit.

This water timer has four outlets that can be timed independently. During summer I water the different parts of my lawn once a week, before sunrise. This works well and optimizes water use. This timer is perfect for such a schedule. It takes a little time to figure out the programs. After that, it is simple to use. I can't think of any need that I may have, which this timer won't be able to satisfy.
