Kit seems fine. For a newbie, it would be nice if there were instructions, but with a few search in YouTube ā I figured it out.

These ports are tight, with no loose wobble. I installed on a drywall that had only one surface, not backed by another wall. So the install went smoothly.

I used these to pass networking from one side of a bedroom wall to the other. Since it includes both the plates and junction mounting brackets it had everything I needed to get the job done (except for CAT6 cables, but that's to be expected). I would definitely buy this exact kit again if I have a similar project.

Iām usually one to use the punch connectors that snap into the plate but saw these were ended up being cheaper. So I ran my cable, used my handy passthrough ends and then made cables for my devices. Ethernet test was solid with no loss. Heard some negative takes on these but honestly it worked great and it was easy
