although the globes do work, my conclusion is that they are not ideal. Perhaps a bit too tiny but the real disadvantage is the opening of the stem as it narrows rather abruptly it really prohibits the water flow. I often have to shake the water out. I would not recommend this item as some work better than others then you are stuck with some that do not perform properly.

The pot in this planter is very small and I struggled to keep it watered often enough. Transplanting to a larger pot was not an option. This glass globe works perfectly.

These globes are great for smaller planters! The glass is thinner on these so I would be careful to not accidentally hit them against anything.

I have a few plants in my collection that need the soild to be moist at all times. This is a great product to ensure the soil does not dry out. I do my regular watering schedule and then add the water globes. As the soild strarts to dry it will pull water to the soild keeping it moist until my next scheduled watering. Would defenitly recoment these to any plant peeps out there!

These watering bulbs are glass and I find that I prefer plastic. To fill them just run the water with a small stream from the faucet and they fill fine. I find these work for a short trip away. These are described as large, but I have larger bulbs purchased at a local store.

These water globes are a big help for my " diva" plants. You know, the ones who just faint dead away when they experience a millisecond of dryness. I have these globes in various sizes, all in the clear irredescece which look like floating bubbles in my plants. Pretty. These are glass globes, delicate but not extremely fragile.

I loved the iridescent look of these and thought they were so beautiful. I just could not figure out how to use them for the life of me. I know the flow rate depends on the angle but even after tinkering with them quite a bit they would drain within the day or even hour.
