Hard to argue the price vs qualtiy. The inserts are meh, but those need replaced often anyway.

Seems to be good quality. I milled the thickness down to a 1/2 inch to work on my lathe.

These are very sharp. They handle an interrupted cut pretty well. I got a very nice finish when it was brand new then degraded to a normal finish after 10s of feet of cut. still running on the first corner of all 3. I bought the extra inserts with them and expect to be cutting for a long time on them.If you are a very active hobbyists these will serve you well.

Seems to be a good product for low cost. I have been taking 60 thousands cuts on 4 inch round mild steel. Chip breaker works best at heavy cuts. Would like to have a set of 1/2 inch for my smaller lathe.

Good on steel/aluminum. Not sure about 316 yet.
