I have been using all the small accusize inserts for my Sherline lathe. Sharp cutters keep the force low and cut great finishes on a benchtop lathe. Also used with 12L14 (not recommended I’m sure) and got a great finish

These inserts have TiN coating on the bottom and sides but not the top surface. They wear quickly and I have to change inserts often. The tool holders came from Accusize as well but the inserts that came with them had TiN coating on all surfaces and they lasted through many cuts. I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of the replacement inserts. And for those wondering, the material I was turning has not changed.

Although these have a chip breaker, they really don't do it all that well compared to the Kennemetals I have. Right feeds and speeds can get a decent finish. Good for thr home shop.

I was impressed with how well these carbide inserts cut. I am using them on a South bend 9. They worked great turning shanks on drill bits. These where old US made drill bits.

So far so good. Faced off 20x - 4” round 1018 saw cut pucks. 1100rpm, 0.020” DOC, 0.009” feed. Did the whole job on a single corner, and the corner showed no wear. Well worth the price.

I bought these for my 6-12mm boring bars and they work great. I've used them with aluminum, mild steel, and 416 stainless and haven't had any issues and get consistently good surface finishes. Since I'm only using them with small boring bars, I generally only take light passes, so I can't comment on how well the do in heavy use

I threw these right on my lathe after receiving and did a little work and was very impressed with the major cutting depth, speeds and feeds I could manage and the finish left! I'm a stranger to black CVD inserts and was loving what I saw! I'm seriously a huge fan of ACCUSIZE even more so now!
