I thought service was right on time, and the bits are exactly what I need for the brake lathe! Thanks again.

I am using these on a benchtop mini lathe. I have the cheesy cheap quick change tool post that takes the tiny 1/4" tool bars with the triangular inserts. These are slightly larger than what came with that tool holder set, but I was able to get them to tighten down. They do hang over the insert support shelf more than the ones that came with do. However, I have been impressed with how well these turn cold rolled steel. I had a 2" round spinning at 1200rpm with around .50mm depth of cut and I was able to push this tool pretty hard, pulling off nice gold and blue chips on a roughing pass with little to no chatter or vibration. A finish pass at high rpm and slow feed rate produces a very respectable surface finish in my opinion. For a dollar a piece, I will definitely be purchasing more of these when the time comes to re stock.

So I bought these to replace the carbide cutters on my gerber because the stick ones broke and gerber would not warranty them or even respond to me… However the did not work great either I cut one piece of weed eater string and one of these inserts cracked so I would say they are not very good quality but I do have several more to try if they break… they do fit the gerber mp600 well though

If you have a Gerber M600 Multitool that uses replaceable carbide inserts, this will fit!The price makes it a winner! On time shipping as well.
